I'm actually a bit surpised that the dental id has not yet been made. I know it's Sunday, but in a case getting this kind of national attention, I'd think that the specialist would come in to make the match. It would not take that long, and I'm sure Hannah's records are on hand. The DNA match would take a while, most likely since other tests would be run as well, but the dental ID has long been used and it's fast.
Yes, that can be done very quickly. I am still not even believing this information in the first place. It is unheard of to reveal details of an open death investigation; it just is not done. Plus it is really implausible there is no tissue and all that is left is skeletal. MH was exposed to the elements for over 100 days and there was hair and some tissue according to her mom.
