He's got to be talking if they have specifics.

As I recall, as this opened up, consideration of other possible victims was begun by LE, and they began asking for tips and witnesses.

Folks have spotted dog teams searching in multiple counties, following up on tips, perhaps they are going back to investigate areas where there have been positive hits... close to where JLM or his parents lived, where he was seen, etc. It could be there was a hit in Nelson county.

The family of Alexis Murphy did not want to accept a plea deal with RAT and unless RAT volunteered information, LE probably did not approach him.

Sorry if my last comment was O/T - I have been lurking for years and finally signed up, and this was not the comment I wanted to post first/second. I followed the MH case closely, and HG wasn't even on my radar (son starting school for first time, very distracted), until I heard on some morning news show that the suspect in the missing UVA student was on the run. My head shot up immediately, and as soon as I saw the mugshot, I knew. Needless to say...started following with rabid attention, and I am truly astonished that remains have been found this quickly. I think that as soon as LE saw surveillance, they knew JLM was 'Sketch', and it was all hands on deck.

Anyway....great community of smart and resourceful folks here on WS. My first post was going to be a brilliant deduction about that vulture farm article - about how they jump on remains and can break ribs, and how Gil had spoken of Morgan's crushed ribs....was waiting to read all the comments (could NOT keep up!) before I posted, and another newbie said it faster and more succinctly than I could! I told my husband on Fri night that Hannah would be found on Sat or Sun and he looked at me like I was crazy....knew because I was reading all these posts. This website is truly amazing and I hope it comforts some families of missing loved ones to know that there is a very large and active group that will not rest until justice is served.

Again - sorry to hijack and be all O/T, but needed to express my appreciation for the site before reading on. Please feel free to delete this to keep the thread clean!

What if bones got strewn onto that property? If they are finding evidence there, wouldn't they include that area as part of the crime scene?

I was thinking this too-- maybe the private citizen's tweet means the house his grandparents used to Own has now been included in the crime scene

I am interested in going to some of JM trial. Maybe a few days. I am guess I will have to get there at 5 am to be in line to get in. Sure a lot of people will wanna go especially if not on TV

Nah, I'm the one who's quibbling, and I do apologize for the minutia. It's just that a grain of salt is the smallest bit of credibility. I suppose that if you wanted to hyperbolize it, you'd say a "crystal of salt"!

In England we say "take it with a pinch of salt" for something that's not very credible.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, I'm trying to catch up... do we think there are more bodies behind 3193, has there still been no ID of Hannah??

I tracked down some different aerial photography from autumn or winter (no leaves on the trees!). The stream is definitely clearer on these photos. They're the same photo but one is zoomed in further.

Maybe it DOES match the DNA from the beer bottle that RAT said corn row dude drank from, but that might only have just been checked. In Alexis' case, a t-shirt belonging to RAT with Alexis' blood and hair extensions wrapped in it were found in RAT's living quarters. It's possible that the DNA from the beer bottle has been sitting in limbo waiting for it's (non emergency) turn in DNA comparison. JMO.

As I recall, there was also unidentified blood (not Alexis Murphy's, nor RATs) on the bed sheets in RAT's trailer. That has been bothering me.

It took 8 days to identify Caylee Anthony. I looked it up today out of frustration.

yes b/c IMO Alexis could have over power RAT unless he knock her out with a bat or something. She was an athlete and was bigger than him.

Sorry for the teensiest quibble here, but a grain of salt = the smallest amount of credibility. An ocean full of salt would therefore mean lots of credibility. Nancy Grace's "take it with a box of salt" is hugely incongruous.

Ah. I am not a DP proponent, so we will just have to agree to disagree. My point is simply that the 2005 case will at least get him off the streets for good, no matter what they have on the others (which I suspect is a lot)

Either way, he will never go hunting or fishing again. Never will he get to feel the green grass under his bare feet. And that is a death sentence right there for a predator. JMHO
