Oh that gave me the shivers....

I don't think any of this was an accident. If it were, why duct tape the poor child? Why put a sticker on the duct tape? It's eerie, scary, and downright psychotic (IMHO of course).

I have no idea what Caylee went through, but I pray she's at peace right now.

Good question! I was looking for that last week. The photos released in the most recent doc dump DO NOT look like the home did during the GVS interview or the other interviews frmo the home. The house and Caylee's room looked totally staged.

I had wished so badly LE would have taken these hundreds of photos on July 15, rather than Dec 15, or whenever they took them.

But back to the topic, sort of.

I can't seem to get away from the heart sticker. Have you noticed how you are noticing hearts everywhere now? Not because of Valentines Day, but just since the heart sticker news broke out?

I was flipping channels and came upon Sponge Bob, one of Caylee's favorite shows. Suddenly Pearl, Mr Crabs daughter, appeared on the screen. She is gray, like duct tape, and has a heart mouth. My stomach dropped when I saw her. I think I will think of Caylee whenever I see Pearl now. :cry:

I found a pic of a red heart sticker like the one on the tape from the crime scene but I can't post a link to it. It is on WESH website on the slideshow of photos of the anthony home. I believe it's #18. It looks like a smaller light pink heart was placed on top of the red one.

(My apologies if this has been discussed already-I did look thru posts!)

LE would not have designated cardbord matting for no reason. They could obviously tell what "suspected duct tape" looked like and suspected diaper and cloth and plastic etc. They saw this as cardboard, and I think I would accept "Matting" as a working description.
I think the scrap book looks pretty close, but I would not stake the crown jewels of Belgium on an absolute?

To me it looks like a deteriorated piece of picture frame matting. Can't say for 100% but that's what I think of when I hear matting.

It is possible it is a cheap commercially made canvas with pressed wood-chip backing board. The canvas would give it the look of "material" especially with deterioration on the edges. You would get the same look of layering, I think.

I really think marellano has found the exact puffy sticker--Stickopotamus brand. I put the one found at the scene and the one marellano found next to each other for comparison:

Keep in mind the one at the scene was probably under water and exposed to the elements for months.

I need to correct myself! After seeing the side by side comparison, what I thought was fading on the left "lobe" of the heart due to exposure to water, sun, etc., is obviously the way it was made, although I do believe it's faded all over due to exposure. I think the stickers are made by "Sandylion"

I saw the heart stickers they found at the house...but frankly none of them match the one at the crime scene IMO. Not to say that having all those heart stickers around isn't significant in it's own right. It is. But I am not convinced that the "backing" they found matches the sticker found at the scene. I don't yet believe this is an absolute match.

No, but one of the sticker backings, especially the one cut out and saved separately, might match the "other sticker" that is the one that left residue on the duct tape across the mouth of Caylee's skull.
