I think he meant he is was the one who ran his mouth first to the TBI about how his brother was involved in Holly's kidnapping and murder.

Adams mother said Dylan told her the TBI questioned him for many hours about Holly's disappearance and his brother's involvement. It was the night before the SW was gotten on ZAs property and home and then shortly after then his arrest.

So like always Zach blames someone else for him being arrested.

Great news. The TBI is going to arrest everyone of them that had any involvement at all in this horrifically tragic case.

Good. This way they can make sure that Dylan testifies at trial against his brother.

He probably helped Zach clean up and throw items away belonging to Holly.

It sure means the TBI keeps making progress in this ongoing investigation and are still finding evidence to support more arrests.

Wait... Dylan is the one who told the TBI that he saw Holly alive in the presence of ZA and JA right? Wouldn't that make him a sort of key witness? Why would they charge a key witness with tampering with evidence? How do they know he won't change his testimony at trial?

Strange, but the more of this type of action I see, the more I realize that LE must know alot about what happened. With this arrest I'm having serious doubts about people who think that the TBI jumped the gun. I can't really believe that the TBI behind the scenes are just fumbling everything up. They must be putting together a pretty clear picture of what actually happened to Holly.

I wonder if the charges against Dylan have anything to do with the bucket and whatever else may have been found with Holly's remains. Fingerprints on the bucket maybe?

These were my thoughts too^. I'm wondering what their game is. I'm wondering if he started getting cold feet about testifying and this is their way of "encouraging" him to testify.
 
If that were the case Plumeria, would they not have wanted to work out an immunity deal rather than just charge him with a crime? Now he's going to have an attorney.
 
What I find most interesting about this development is about how specific the charge is for Dylan. Being specific that it is for destroying evidence in 2011. There must be evidence as to the timing of the act. I believe someone has given statements as to witnessing what he did and when. Seems to me the wolves are starting to turn on each other.

I have no doubt that all of his interviews with the TBI have been videoed. If he refuses to testify the TBI knows they can get the video in. All they have to do is have the interrogating officer testify that he made the video and interviewed DA. Since all of what he has stated to LE has already been memorialized they really don't need his testimony. And of course they can use these charges to apply pressure on him and if he testifies truthfully then they may workout a deal to drop the charges since his case probably wont happen until after the murder trials.

He wont be the first witness we have seen come into court to testify that is in leg irons and chains. I have seen that happen several times.

An arrest affidavit filed in the Decatur County Courthouse details the reason for the arrest.

Dylan Adams was booked into the Madison County jail in Jackson where he is being held without bond.

He is tentatively scheduled to appear in court in Decatur County at 9 a.m. on Monday.

His criminal history shows charges dating back to 2009 including several drug violations as well as aggravated burglary and theft.
