How do you feel about the memorial service planned for Caylee?

That has nothing to do with this cross. This looks like the cross KC made while out on bond. Same beads, same colors, etc. There is every reason to have believed this cross was connected after getting that information.

I asked this before but you must have missed the post. Where does the information about the cross looking line one Casey made while out on bond come from? LP hasn't said that, he says the materials used are similar to some that were seen by the female bounty hunter at the Anthony home.

One interesting fact..when you look at the raw video of the confrontation today it shows that CA has at least four of those bead bracelets on her arms. I will admit though, anyone can buy those beads. The cross may have also been planted.:waitasec:

I totally agree with this up until the statement by the kidfinder's representative. Kidfinders is not doing the Anthonys any favors.

It's not that they cannot grasp the DNA-they refuse to grasp the DNA. And are pi**ed that we will not fall in line and accept their theories (as there are more than one) instead, we (most of us) use our common sense and respect for LE and forensic science. If you read that CLOSELY - it says a MEMBER of Kidfinders. NOT THEM.

Caylee is not seriously ill, and this is not before she is "pronounced dead". One cannot be "pronounced dead" officially by a coroner if one is not found. However, one can be shown to BE dead by the evidence left behind, and the evidence here is clear as the nose on your face. Caylee, a 2 year old baby, shares the same mitochondrial dna as Cindy, Cindy's mother, Casey and Lee. The strand of hair that was found to have come from a corpse, a DEAD human, was found to contain the same mitochondrial dna as Casey, Cindy, Cindy's mom and Lee. Now, it is quite obvious that Casey, Cindy, Cindy's mom and Lee are all alive and accounted for and not a one of them is missing in action-so it is safe to assume that the hair that came from the corpse, the dead human body, that shares the exact identical same mitochondrial dna as those I have previously listed, is the only member of the family who IS missing and unaccounted for. Caylee is not ill-she is dead. The fact that her family are now engaged in a run for the roses to save their psychotic daughter and themselves and are misrepresenting information left and right does nothing to change this FACT. It is a fact that Caylee is dead. No, she has not been "pronounced dead" by the coroner, because her sociopathic mother disposed of her body well and the family is assisting her in covering up her crime, but this does not make her any less dead. Dead is dead. The hair came from a corpse. Why is this concept so difficult to comprehend for some?

They should quit trying to make people believe Caylee is alive, and more time trying to prove it. Then people might have some respect for them.

There are so many people in pain over this...and all because Caylee's "mother" won't tell anyone where she was placed.

I think a memorial is noble and MOST families would appreciate the gesture! I hope it all goes well for everyone.

I would like to see her buried with love and dignity, but I think today's events and even the emotions on this thread show that LP hosting a memorial service is not going to bring about a dignified outcome. Even if you accept he has absolutely pure intentions for doing so, which many don't, but putting it as a given it will still result in a media circus/madhouse/Cindy flipout and the people who want to pay their respects feeling disrupted, distracted, etc...

Someone of a more neutral party should handle the event. Have it in a church, not at a suspected but not confirmed dumping site, and have the ability to speak well in public and say this is for Caylee, this is for the people who have been touched by her, this is an opportunity for them to express how she has touched them, say good bye if that is what they feel they need to do, for them to celebrate her life if that is what they would like to do, and for them to pray for her well being if that is what they need to do. This could be done in a beautiful gracious manner.

And with 3000 people online watching Cindy flip out, and more of us commenting on it, we should be able to arrange it instead of fighting about it.

I really admire your thinking on this and your ability to express yourself. This is also how I feel.

I got the impression she was using the long embraces as a way to speak directly into the person she was hugging's ear-- so you couldn't tell what she was saying but she was being received loud and clear by the hug recipient??

She doesn't seem like a "touchy-feely" person-- she sort of flipped out when Det. Melich was touching her during that interview.

But if you look up "Memorial SERVICE" the accepted connotation is definitely in regards to a deceased person.

All this 'drama' could have been avoided if he announced a "Vigil".... it seems appropriate to question whether there was an ulterior motive here or not.

I think it was not termed a vigil for a very good reason-a vigil is in prayer and hope, a memorial IS for a deceased person, and that is exactly right in this case, because Caylee is deceased and has been for quite some time now, almost a half a year, and there has been NO memorial service for her of any kind. It is overdue.
