^Haleigh had to have been alive at the time MC called Ron. IMO, Misty called Ron to complain/tattle/seek advice about Haleigh, not JR, because Ron referred to a "her" in his overheard conversation. At this time of the evening the call was probably for the reason of Haleigh not sleeping. Ron stated, "Spank her" which was overheard by Ron's coworker so, Haleigh was alive at the time of Misty's phone call. Then Misty either hit Haleigh, as her dad suggested, but a serious injury somehow ensued or Misty gave Haleigh an overdose to help her go to sleep. It took 30-45 minutes before she "went"/went to sleep/became unconscious and appeared to be sleeping.

I agree with you AKSLEUTH...Perhaps Haleigh was injured/hurt somehow...and they wanted GGMS or the nurse to look at her....Misty saying she walked Haleigh all the way to her class room...and later saying Haleigh was doing fine....could be connected to an injury Haleigh received...JMO....but I agree with you also saying her last day is questionable...What/When.. happened to that child???? all in my own opinion
I'm curious if Misty walked Haleigh into the room, or just to the door. I wonder if anybody witnessed Misty being there.

BBM The Just whip her article Art reported said the coworker said this happened a few weeks before. Not That Night.

To your comment regarding a witness to seeing Misty with Haleigh at school...Some schools require ...that a parent that is coming into the school building and going further down into the classes...to sign in at the office, then you can accompany the child to her actual classroom...

If this is the policy of Haleigh's school. Misty would have to have signed in at the office to be able to walk Haleigh to her class...the time, her name, and the child's name would be recorded..IF THIS WAS THE POLICY..

But if she just seen her to the front door entrance...and seen her go in..Misty would not have to sign in...just watch her go thru the door..

IMO...The LE already have this info from the school..and know IF what Misty is saying is TRUE...that she either walked her all the way to her class, or just dropped her off...Hopefully, this can be answered.....I want to know, as well as you...

I was never told I had to sign in. Sad to say they do have a policy that requires people to sign in and get a visitor name tag then sign out, but they are very laxed about following through with it. Also, Misty could pass for a 6th grader at the elementary school here. I am serious she looks and dresses just like many of them. I am saying if that is the case no one would bother to ask her who she is.

I agree, this makes no sense. Ronald driving all the way to GGS' house just because Haleigh had nothing to wear or because she wanted a certain outfit? That can't be it. Not sending her to school wasn't an option either, because he was in trouble for allowing her to miss 30 days of school already.

Could he have injured Haleigh in some way? Shaking her, smacking her? Making her dizzy? They wanted GGS' opinion, or the nurse's opinion, the one that accompanied GGS that night? Could Haleigh have been injured, but still walking and talking, but later that evening, got sick and died? Like actress Natasha Richardson who had head injuries, thought she was fine, later became ill and died? That does happen. Could have happened to Haleigh? That would throw several people into the "knowledge of a crime" category.

Everything about Haleigh's last day is questionable and these people aren't shedding any light.

I wonder what Haleigh's teacher had to say about Haleigh's last day in school?

BINGO! Maybe GGS had haleighs breathing machine, her nebulizer? Dunno...

BBM..I'm more inclined to believe IF indeed a co worker heard Ron say spank her it was just a staged conversation.. All for show, stated loud enough for someone else to hear so they would think Haleigh was alive when he was at work... Wonder IF any of his co workers over heard any conversations on any of the other 90 plus calls he made that night...JMO

What other reason....would Ron have...to go out of his way..from taking Haleigh right to school...and driving to GGMS....and THEN taking her to school... In this scenario the children are the key.

WHAT OTHER REASON...would it be???????If not the clothes...(which I DO NOT believe that was the reason).....hmmmmm.....Another reason to HURRY to GGMS..before school... something that had to be taken care of BEFORE Haleigh could go to school...

Could it be a reason...Ron had.....and they ALL WENT...????? (Just my opinion it was something else..that COULD NOT wait...)Haleigh HAD to go to school or Ron would get in trouble... Was Haleigh vomiting? Did she have a high fever? Went to GGMS/aunt nurse to get tylenol phenergan or some type of prescrition med for vomiting? Wheezing and out of meds? Was Haleigh having seizures and went for barbiturates or the like?
A thought just occured to me...I don't see Ron doing this for Haleigh...BUT FOR HIMSELF..He had a reason...for HIM...to go out of his way..before taking her to school...Something that DID NOT have to do with Haleigh's clothes...I agree it was something to cover Ron's rear. Something to buy him a little time.It had to deal with Haleigh to me... or Ron would have dropped Haleigh off and gone about HIS business without the kids OR MC..OR to have Haleigh checked by GGMS for ....WHAT... ding ding ding IF ONLY WE KNEW that reason he went there...before school...
I agree with you. Whatever it was it was ONLY to cover RON!
If all four had to go because of Haleigh's "condition" Ron drove... MC monitored Haleigh and Jr had to go because no one could watch him at home. So Haleigh had to be vomiting or having trouble breathing or a very high fever or seizing (tho we have heard nothing about seizures)

Why else would TWO adults need to travel in a car with a child? :waitasec:

Then MC? allegedly walked Haleigh to class? To me for no other reason than to tell the teacher "Haleigh wasn't feeling well" we gave her some medicine so if she seems a little out or sorts/drowsy.. blah blah blah...

The only other thing I can come up with is Ron was missing some of his "stash" that he had hidden in a childs toy/piggy bank book bag???? He had to find it... OR ELSE!!! GGMS had no idea what to look for so he had to take the kids and MC to help him locate it. ( I knew a guy that stored his "junk" in the "bottom" of a stuffed monkey that sat on a high shelf in his little girls room. (til his wife found it while dusting one day and kicked him out!)
The clothes story does not fly. Even mildly dirty clothes can be "fluffed" in a dryer in a pinch- YES I did it when our washer died. hand rinse and fluff!
all MOO

& I won't be one bit surprised to hear that the school has no record of her being there, but she'll insist that she most definantly did walk her to class. Her statement in the hypnosis report says, ' I walked her into school, walked her all the way to her classroom, then walked OUT BACK to, got in the car with Ronald and Jr.' O.K., this is another one of those weird statements. It sounds to me like she is defensive because #1, someone @ the school is claiming that Misty did not escort Haleigh to class, or #2, she's expecting them to dispute it-so she emphasizes 'ALL THE WAY'. Also, did Misty mean she walked BACK OUT, or OUT BACK. Is she saying that she left from a back door? because this may be her reason that noone saw her.

Someone said this conversation was on another night. Here's a link, it's in the video. http://www.artharris.com/2009/04/27/exclusive-did-dad-say-just-whip-haleigh/

I'd be curious what co-workers had to say about Ronald's phone call the night of Feb 9th-10th. I'd also like to know exactly how many calls he dialed that night.

Exactly. Of course LE has questioned the teacher, prinicipal, and the bus driver. If they found any indication that Haleigh was not in school that day, the investigation would have taken a different track from the start. That's not to say that an injury could not have occurred previously that resulted in death later. But LE has stated that the crucial hours were after 7:30 p.m. and everything we've seen in the investigation supports that.

Misty has an unusual manner of speaking (and writing). Remember in her letter, she wrote, cousin Joe "put me up with a knife"? We have to decipher what she means. It's confusing and time-consuming. Maybe they did enter the school through a back door in case anyone in authority was watching. So in that sense, "out back" makes sense. Or was she simply trying say, "I walked back out to the car"? Or, "I walked out, back to the car"?

It must be difficult to try to make yourself understood when there's a lack of education, poor communication skills, and when one is trying to keep all the lies in order. :waitasec:

I'd like to know how many calls he dialed, the phone numbers dialed, and besides how many were unanswered, how many WERE answered. Apparently there was a period when Misty wasn't taking his calls, but did they talk later? And where was he when he was making those calls?

I am new at this and am learning my way around on this board, so forgive me if this question has already been answered...

IF RON & MISTY...DID drive her all the way to Welatka...to get her clothes...Has it been confirmed BY THE SCHOOL, that Haleigh was present on that day, at the STARTING time of her class....????

OR..

Has it been confirmed BY THE SCHOOL that Haleigh WAS present at school that day...BUT LATE.

Does Misty say in the hypnosis..(yeah, right I don't believe she was) when Haleigh was dropped off at school, did Misty have to go to the office FIRST..before walking Haleigh to her class...??? The reason being for a TARDY slip???? Some schools have this policy if a student arrives late, the must FIRST go the office..THEN their class...

Anyone know these answers????..If so, thanks so much...AND IF I am incorrect of these facts, please correct me...

Hi justus4all........... I wasn't able to copy and paste HaLeigh's school attendance record into this post so below is the link which can be found on page 1 in the Stickies Document links ***No Discussion*** thread, (post #18). It appears that a "U" for unexcused was rubbed out on Feb 9th and the teacher forget to mark in a "T" for Tardy. To answer your question "Has it been confirmed BY THE SCHOOL that Haleigh WAS present at school that day...BUT LATE",.....it does appear that HaLeigh arrived late because a U for "Unexcused" was initially marked in and erased when she arrived late. The bus driver confirmed HaLeigh got off at her bus stop Monday afternoon and Ron and Misty said Ron picked her up and drove her home.

http://i42.tinypic.com/33k4x3m.png

FYI, Gramma Sykes said on NG she always did the children's laundry so the clothes went back and forth so it is possible an outfit HaLeigh wanted to wear that particular day was at her granny's place and altho going there would have made HaLeigh late for school, her father drove her there to get it.

According to Misty, she walked HaLeigh straight to her classroom and did not stop at the office to give a reason for HaLeigh's tardiness. Ron told Crystal Sheffield if HaLeigh missed any more school, they were going to throw him in jail, so my guess is Ron had Misty take HaLeigh to her classroom in order to avoid a confrontation with school officials.

Hope this answers your questions.

Yikes! The dot stands for present. Look at the date Feb 24th. It has a dot. How could she be present on that date? This shows the the records are not accurate. Somethings amiss here. Please explain.

Obviously an error.

Nothing in this case is explainable by logical standards, I'm afraid. People say things but it can't back up with facts. We know she wasn't in school on the 24th, so obviously, someone made an error. Can you imagine what LE have to sift through, all the lies, some truth, witnesses who cover up for others. :crosseyed: Totally insane.

I've uploaded the chart for easy reference.

If Jr is up freaking out, why don't we hear him on the 911?

There is almost no way that Misty could have been "hypnotized." She has far too much need to be in control in order to avoid saying anything incriminating. I've worked with several experts who use hypnosis for medical purposes and pain control, and hypnosis requires the ability to deeply relax. Worrying about what you might say in a trance state won't allow a trance state. So I think the hypnosis session is just another of Misty's varying stories, all of which included some truth (things that don't incriminate her, in her mind, or things that can embroider up the story) and a healthy mix of lies about anything that does matter. The only value that "story" has is to put it alongside all the other stories and look for the elements that persist, and the elements that vary, without privileging any particular story. Then some patterns may emerge.

It's likely that experienced LE interviewers have already done that work.

akslueth The reason I pointed that out was because if they could make a mistake about her being there AFTER she came up missing, couldn't they have easily mistaken her being account for on the last day that she was reported to have been in attendance last? I understand that they have teachers, people at the bus stop that said that she was in attendance that day. But look at how easily mistakes can be made. That's what I meant.
