I am still convinced that the perp(s) left the girls where they were found because 7 bridges was a location known to the perp(s). I think the idea that they have some familiarity with Evansdale and Readyln is still one I am pretty well convinced of.

I'm convinced the perp (s) knew the area well. I 'think' the perp talked with at least one of the girls on the net and got them to trust him. Imoo the perp(s) are male, young...maybe in their late teens.
I also feel like this was a sexual crime.
I am sick that these 2 little girls, riding their bikes on a summer day were kidnapped and murdered.
God help LE find their killer (s). imo

I think he meant that they were heading WNW on Brovan and that Meyers Lake was roughly in the opposite direction.

See...this is the stuff that annoys me...if it's important to note that the girls were riding away from the lake, then WHY do they mention that they were last seen in the area of the lake?!!! Why are they asking people who have any information of the girls being in the area of Gilbert, Arbutus, Lake Ave area to call with information?

Either we need to note they were riding away from the lake AND THAT MATTERS or they were last seen in the area of the lake AND THAT MATTERS and it does NOT matter that the video happened to catch them riding "away" from the lake (still don't get how/why they think that's away).

The ONLY thing that I think could be a key to the "away" part...is IF someone (could be a friend of the girls) DID know that these girls frequented the lake, and the way the girls rode when they went to the lake was NOT the route they were riding that day.

What I mean is, if so and so comes forward and says Mr. Officer...I know Lizzy and Lyric went to the lake almost every day because I've ridden with them before. Mr Officer: What way did you guys ride? Witness: We always took the Evansdale Nature Trail because my mom wouldn't let me ride down River Forest because it's too busy.

Maybe something like that is what prompted the "away" comment. Who flippin' knows.:banghead:

Ty Rner! That's exactly how I took it upon first reading... then I had "talked myself out of that idea," in part because it doesn't make any sense to me why she would pay any amt towards the bond if she couldn't pay the entire amt.

Whew... I for one feel better now.

I suppose that when the tape was released, that was where the girls were last seen. In September, more information was released and then the girls were placed in the area of Elmer and Gilbert between 12:30 and 1 PM.
