The Daily Mail and the New York Post
I noticed in todays presser the dad perusing the audience very intently. He must be looking for signs on someone. He seems very determined imo. Her poor mother seems so very sad. I really feel for this family. It's been way too long with no sign of Mollie.
Has this video been posted before?
Boyfriend of missing Iowa student speaks out
It's an ABC news segment with some info and an interview with Mollie's boyfriend, Dalton.
I aplologize if this has been discussed/answered and I missed it. Do we know anything about the quality of the internet connection and/or cellphone reception at the bf house. Any thought that she might have gotten a ride or walked somewhere in order to upload a homework assignment, send a sc, or facetime.
This guy touches his head, face, neck and glasses like 12-15 times in 3 minutes...about once every 10-15 seconds. Either somebody polished off too many cups of coffee this morning or the interview has him a bit jumpy. Just my personal observation.

Looks new to me. I don't think I had heard that Mollie was going to be the maid of honor in BJ and AH's wedding. DJ also says he was in contact with Mollie via text and snapchat prior to her run on Wednesday.
I added it to the media thread.
The Daily Mail and the New York Post reported the hog farmer who had his property searched has arrests for stalking. https://nypost.com/2018/08/02/cops-grill-hog-farmer-for-hours-about-missing-college-student. I looked up his criminal records. Since I am not sure if he is formally a POI, I can't put the results here but those charges are just the tip of the iceberg. Praying for her family and friends.
Thanks just found it.There's a thread for this: IN - IN - FBI Investigating Remains in Field Near Ponds, Indianapolis, Aug 2018
I said in a previous MT thread that I assume and hope LE has looked at the attendance on 07/19 of people she worked with - specifically males. The narrative that she knew the person, they wanted more, she didn't and something happened could fit. It's also possible that rather than try to go to her mom's house in the rain for the car, she was offered a ride from someone who knew she'd be at the house alone.Suggested scenario. Someone knew Mollie was there alone and that she normally walked to her Mom’s house to get the car early. Since it was supposedly pouring rain, this person sees an opportunity to knock on the door or call out to see if she needed a ride, either to work or to Mom’s. She wasn’t quite ready yet so accepted and let the person in, saying she just needed to lock up dogs and put in contacts.
Person offers to put dogs in basement and then takes Mollie. Or it was an advance gone wrong. She’s wearing red shirt, has her phone in a pocket but no contacts yet. Glasses were off in order to put the contacts in. Trouble is I have no clue who the person could be. Did she have any other guy friends who perhaps were more interested in her than she realized? Early morning and raining so all could have gone unnoticed.
Not a random stranger in this case. All my own opinion and trying to make sense of the pieces of info we (maybe) have.
Not. But you'd be surprised that sometimes for local stories they are there before other outlets.Bastions of journalistic integrity
