It was reported that a red t-shirt linked to Mollie's job had been found, but her mom says her daughter owned two of those shirts and they are both in her room

RED SHIRT OR RED HERRING?

The reported discovery of a red shirt in a roadside ditch Thursday ignited fevered speculation it could belong to Mollie, who wore a similar t-shirt each day to her job at the medical center.
In theory, she could made it home from her jog, slept at her boyfriend’s house, changed for work then gone missing the next morning while wearing the red item.

The clothing was spotted by someone out mowing grass but Kevin Winkler of the Iowa Department of Public Safety told a press conference Friday he had ‘no information’ to confirm that anything belonging to Mollie had been found.

Laura Calderwood told DailyMail.com that she had found two of her daughter’s red work shirts in her bedroom but could not be certain there wasn’t a third somewhere.

Mollie sometimes changed for work at her mom’s house before taking the Pontiac but also kept clothes and possessions at Dalton Jack’s house.

'She sort of lived across both houses, she had her stuff in both places,' he told DailyMail.com.

Mollie Tibbets: FBI to question hog farmer for third time in connection with missing college student

The first round of questioning for hog farmer Wayne Cheney, 56, of Deep River, occurred on July 26, days before authorities searched an area close to a hog farm between Guernsey and Deep River on Thursday.

On August 3, an FBI agent showed up on the doorstep Wayne Cheney’s Deep River home again. The agent stayed around 10 minutes before leaving, but it’s still unclear what was discussed.

Cheney indicated that the FBI agent said he would return on Sunday to question him further.
