The aunt who spoke about the vegan issue with her pots and pans said that the it took place 4 years ago when BK and his father were staying at her home as they had gone to Nevada for a funeral and stayed at her place. During that visit, she said that is when the issue came up about her pots and pans and BK's dietary/cookware issues.

So he was 24 years old not a teen as I had suspected. Why did he need to stay with relatives vs just staying at his own home?

Possibly Dr. K. Ramsland? He studied under her.

No, she's at Desales in Pennsylvania.
It's in your link.

So he didn't travel cross-country to study with her and we still don't know why he chose the UofW.

To me, the bigger issue is: Why drive the car back to Pennsylvania? Would make more sense to leave it in WA and fly home for the holidays, if you were planning to return for second semester. I think it's more likely he realized the jig was (about to be) up after the police asked for info on white Elantras. I wonder what excuse he gave to his dad about needing to get the car back in Pennsylvania....
You're right, and I thank you for bringing that out, @Jessthinkin. We know why he wanted to get that car out of the area, but his family probably didn't. Makes more sense to just fly home for the holiday break. Okay, so if he still wanted to drive, fine, but why would his father go out there to drive back with him?

The connection is likely that he either liked boutique coffee or preferred Greek salads.

Or perhaps he frequented the Corner Bar, or went to the frat party that night.

Lots of ways he could've been tangentially connected, even if briefly.

My opinion.

2012 he would be 18....2016 22 which is college grad age...MA takes 2-3 years plus u sit out a year trying to get in....not sure what you mean. maybe I missed something

Not sure it takes 2-3 years at DeSale. Their most popular program, IMO, is a 5 year Bachelor's/Master's track which allows 2 years of CC units to come in, shortening it.

So 3 years total for a bachelor's and a master's in his case.

The regular Master's program requires just 30 units (2 semesters for most students, but can be done more quickly if a student desires). One of those is the writing project.

Both are available entirely online or hybrid.

There are other specialty tracks there too (they have a track in digital forensics, for example and another that is counter-terrorism) but as far as we know right now, his was just the regular Master's in Criminal Justice (which is not the same as Criminology).

Criminal Justice degrees are usually sought by cybersecurity specialists, law enforcement and people who are going into administration in the corrections field.

Possibly Dr. K. Ramsland? He studied under her.

"She has appeared on more than 200 crime documentaries and magazine shows, is an executive producer of Murder House Flip..." OK do not watch TV so did not know about that show. Maybe he wanted to impress Dr. R, and have her help write his autobiography. :( I still think that BK did not undersand that most of us think crime is bad; he thinks it is fascinating.

IMO he has to get back to Idaho and enter a not guilty plea in order to see all the evidence against him. IMO he needs, really really needs to know how LE has solved this. He needs to know where his plan went wrong and if there was something LE missed, etc. Right now he can only guess what they have, how they got it, how long did it take to figure it out, what they haven't figured out yet, etc. I still, IMO, believe he intentionally created a complicated a crime scene in his fiction come-to-life plot.
all moo
This is a very good point. He does not know what LE has on him until he reads the PCA.

A lot of kids do 2 yrs CC and then transfer to university. A lot less expensive and you still get the degree from the university.
Core classes same curriculum at CC. Finish Associates Degree and just enroll in University to complete a Bachelor’s Degree. Any credits at CC in core classes are usually transferable. Some high schoolers start CC while they are still finishing high school. Financially it’s advantageous less debt/student loans also some students working jobs and attending CC, some want to pay off their own car loans, some are living independently in their own apartments.

If BK or his family used toll roads a lot in PA there may have been a transponder to signal the toll booths and allow someone to drive thru without stopping. I was unaware until I just looked but it looks like it can be activated in other states as well. I’m posting a link about it with the map showing the states included in the system

Yes, in all the tolls. We drive right through the tolls in Texas, but we get billed later. I think the old fashioned toll booths are going the way of pay phones.
I think the toll road between Sequin and Austin is completely automated.

In 2018, I couldn't figure out "where on earth" to pay in Houston, so I just used the automated toll.

A lot of people give creepy vibes and do not commit murders.

A lot of people have compulsions or obsessions or personality traits that rub people the wrong way and they don’t commit murders.

A lot of people go through changes in their lives and treat people differently than they did before and they don’t commit murders.

A lot of people study criminology and forensics or have an entertainment interest in horror and macabre scenes and don’t commit murders.

A lot of people “have a look” and don’t commit murders and many don’t “have a look” and do commit murders.

Anecdotes have provided the following information:

-history of drug use
- personality changes during high school and development
-presents as insecure and overcomes that insecurity by trying to knock other people down (emotionally or physically, being a bully, wanting to fight, needing to seem smart or as an authority)
-has a history of misogyny, verbal harassment, or approaching women in an unwelcome way, especially when drinking
-uses social situations to try to get closer to people or get personal information on people
-usually controls the way he is perceived, but has a marked difference from what he projects and what he feels
-controls it less than he thinks he does (slips up under the influence, makes comments others perceive as socially unacceptable)

From the above and the crime, here are speculations I have about this person:

-has no empathy or ability to truly connect with other people
-poor default self-image and general negative disposition, to which drugs, adrenaline, and other compulsions serve as ways to mitigate those feelings temporarily
-knows what he is going to do before he does it (the part of him that plans and processes information is in service to the part of him that is compulsive)
-illusions of grandeur (he thinks he is the main character)
-blames others for his feelings of inadequacy, holds grudges
-can be quite charming and interesting at times
-sexually motivated (his violent fantasies and compulsions relate to this)
-delayed adolescence with many issues from childhood still lingering
-competent and aware of right vs. wrong
-deep need to control/manipulate/and dominate but fails at this internally and with others
-powder keg type person with repression contributing to explosive actions
-narcissistic and cruel
-permanent threat to society /no capacity for healing or redemption

My opinion only

LE hasn’t given this info, only MSM has. Do you have a link?

I think it is apparent that those are reflections/shadows on the window from the branches/leaves of the trees outside
