How long have they lived in the house?
Just this semester?

You would think any neighbors would be accustomed to noisy students though

Was the Saturday night they were killed a big night out for U of I students?
There was a home football game and then holidays for 2 weeks I think.

If there had been no football game, would most people have gone home maybe Saturday morning/afternoon?
I know most people go home for Thanksgiving but I guess if you've a part time job or lots of study to do, you might hang around a few days longer.

I'm just curious that if the killer planned it, did he specifically pick that Saturday night?

Cos it would make more sense to pick a week night when they still had classes?

So, by my reasoning it must've been a spur of the moment decision.

Also Saturday night is when you stay over with bf or he stays with you. Most of them had bfs I think.

So it seems like it was someone who knew them enough to know their movements but didn't really plan it.
