Nobody is blaming them. But the fact of the matter is of the ones I’m speaking about who either they or their moms say she was their best friend and they loved her like family... neither had talked to her because they “grew apart”. Which I get that that is something that just happens, but there hasn’t been anyone coming forward to say that they were her friend now. That they talked to her regularly. It doesn’t seem that she was even part of the initial welfare check... just something they realized when they started poking around. She isn’t mentioned in her step dad’s obituary even though she was part of the family for years. It’s just sad. Her mom does not seem to give a crap about her wellbeing. It’s just very sad. I think Tylee lived a lonely life for the last year and a half or so.
Yes; she had a dad who wanted her. That isn’t who I was talking about when I said she was forgotten. Everyone else is.
Of ALL of the stuff in this case that is one of the most bizarre!!! I literally cannot imagine having that conversation. The closest I think I could get is my grandpa with dementia (while living in a locked memory care facility) asking in front of his nurses if my ex had died yet. I said no, he was alive and well. My grandpa then said, “get me my checkbook! I’ll have some of my cousins from the Italian mob fix it right away!” I had to remind him that he had no cousins and wasn’t even Italian. LOL!
I think it is possible Chad didn't know about Lori's kids until very late in the game.

Here, if I remember correctly, is what I think I know that figures into this.
July (forget the date) - Charles killed in AZ, so Tylee, JJ, and Lori are there at this point.
August 7 - school starts for the year in this school district. (Yes, earlier than most places.)
August - sometime Kay (Charles' sister/JJ's bio grandmother) talks to JJ (via Facetime or something like that, I think).
September 23, JJ attends school the last time. Obviously he'd been attending for some period prior.
November (near the end), someone (I've theorized Kay for obvious reasons, but we don't know for sure) asks Rexburg Police to do a welfare check.
My guess from this is that Lori and JJ moved from AZ sometime between when Charles was killed and I'm guessing the point in August where Kay last talked to JJ. My rationale is that when that happened she found out JJ was in ID instead of AZ if she didn't know prior. This is based on her, if it was her, knowing to call the Rexburg PD for the welfare check.
I could be way off on this, but we can say for sure they didn't leave AZ until July and we have to assume that JJ didn't start school on 9/20 (the Friday before) and come the last day on 9/23. Everything kind of points toward sometime in August for them to get there.
I think it is very possible that Chad never met the kids. Not saying I believe it, but I don't think we can rule it out. MOO.
Also, I've wondered about Chad's house. I'm not sure if we know for sure, but I was under the impression that he owned it, not rented, but don't know if anyone has determined that. He hasn't sold any real estate based on someone's search in Idaho in the last several months. I guess it comes down to we don't know that either.
Interestingly, older pics of her appear to show a fascination with marvel cartoons. I think I read Colby mention that too. Might be worth looking in anything having to do with that in forums or message boards. I’ve never found her tumblr or vsco.
