BBM-Right after a death, people are very attentive to a grieving family. As time goes on, these people move on and resume their everyday lives. Sometimes the family that is still grieving feels people have abandoned them. Perhaps this is what the son is feeling. IMO

I respectfully disagree. I think this young man knows the difference between people moving on with their lives and people "turning away from them."

I respectfully disagree. I think this young man knows the difference between people moving on with their lives and people "turning away from them."

BBM- I'm not sure there is another reasonable explanation of why people would be turning away from them. I have heard grieving members of other families express the same. It is a normal feeling grieving family members have when people move away from them and resume their lives. Especially after the outpouring sympathy and support this family had. I didn't mean any disrespect towards the son. I'm just expressing my opinion based on past experience.
