Richard Allen continues to be upset with the judge in this case! I’m shocked, because most people on trial for murder love their judges. /s

How did this case become so crazy? If the local gentry are always so hostile towards their own duly elected members of the criminal justice system, it could explain why they have so much violent crime, drug addiction, etc.

Do they always have so much sympathy for their local monsters? The local news media is questioning the judge, who is just doing her job and following the law? JMO.

Why are they allowing the previous, discredted defense team to continue running this trial?

This is the new trend in criminal defense strategy. To take advantage of current rules that allow the defense to basically say anything they want as long as it’s in a court document. They’re not supposed to lie, but apparently it’s OK to mislead. The problem is defense attorneys now push their misleading statements to the point of lying.
They take advantage of e-filing to get around gag orders by filing things in the middle of the night, so the public has at least a few hours to soak in their lies before they’re finally sealed.
They spend more time on the court filings than the do on preparing for trial. The filings are long and detailed and explicit and because there is no cross-examination or nettlesome prosecution testimony, it reads like a dime store novel and many of the public believe every word.
They hire social media savants to monitor what people are saying and make attempts to adjust things as necessary.
Their entire focus is to work hard to try it in the public eye, so you don’t have do the real hard work at trial.
If it does go to trial there is a good possibility they look unprepared and clueless, like Alex Murdaugh’s defense team, because they haven’t focused on the trial.
This does not serve justice for anybody, defendant or victim.
This is my strongly held opinion.

I just forced myself to listen to that podcase. As to your first question: I didn't hear them address that in their episode.

From the timeline, it seems that NM had to have gotten the leaked info first. IMO Since MS talked about how damaging it was for the D's strategy to be leaked to the prosecution...well, that just leads to more questions.

I went down a 2 hour rabbit hole on this, can't find it but know I've read it on more than one occasion. But, that being said, I'll have to refrain from repeating that again until I can find it. It might have been on a site that isn't MSM.

IIRC In the Gray Hughes said in his video that he had received 5 or 6 leaked photos.

I would guess that's what lead atty's do.

I think BR took the lead in the in chambers hearing on Oct 19th because he didn't want AB to jeopardize or misspeak any more than he had already. To me, BR basically inferred AB was more culpable than he was, that didn't know any of the people MW, RF, etc. and the leak didn't come from his office.

I believe AB was doing most of the leg work and depos, drafts, etc. having most of the work product in his office verses Rozzi.

Has the investigation officially ended? I ask because I truly don't know if there are any more charges to come.

We don't know that investigation has culminated at all. MW could just be the start of people held criminally responsible. AJMO

Per the in chambers transcript it seem NM may have been informed of the leak as early as 10/2 by another source.
“I mean, I have spent the past 17 days investigating this night and day when I should have been preparing for trial.”

I question the judge, the prosecutor, LE's, and the defense behavior, but I have no sympathy for the "local monster". So far, it seems that no one has strictly and faithfully followed all court procedures without error. It's not a display of sympathy to defendants.

I do not see how hostility towards elected persons explains violent crime and drug addiction.
Have you known someone who was so hostile to members of the criminal justice system, that it drove them to violent crime or drug use? Did that happen in New York?

I've never heard of most murders on trial loving their judges. I've seen quite a few threaten and try to intimidate judges.

That happened in May but the P side didn't find out about it until Dec. The one that NM spent 17 days on was the Oct leak with the pictures. I don't know if MS lumped the two episodes together.

No we are talking about how in the transcript here NM says he has been investigating the leak nonstop for 17 days which puts his investigation starting in 10/2, before LE investigation started after being told by MS on 10/5.

No problem, FG mentioned the Defense strategy that was leaked, not the photos. That was leaked when AB sent that jump file to BW instead of BR in May by mistake. Was AB BW's lawyer in that case or connected to it somehow?

I wonder how AB had BW's contact information so handy.

I never said it was ended? But it did lead to someone being charged solely with something which explicitly relies on AB not giving permission, and BR and AB are named as witnesses.

If the PCA affiant withheld info that would lead him to believe that MW did in fact have permission to take and share the photos then they are beginning the case in a bizarre and dishonest manner. Same with the prosecuting attorney.


So unless they are lying and affirming under the penalty of perjury things they don’t believe, it seems that the investigation that has been going on for 6 weeks has not led LE to believe AB was involved.

Agree, if JG doesn't feel like she isn't healthy enough to continue throughout this trial she could and should take this opportunity.

If JG disagrees and believes she legitimately did nothing to intentionally to violate the SCOIN rules, then I don't see her stepping down. I guess we'll know more on Monday maybe?

MW's motive for leaking confidential information confounds me. He apparently is a smart guy so he must have considered the ramifications of the leak getting out. If it was only the pictures, I would have assumed there was something in them that he thought would help RA's case. BUT if they leaked B&R's strategy, then that's another story. He absolutely would have known the damage that would result.

Now, then, R's gone but what about the Texas guy? I'm guessing that since he leaked to MS, he probably leaked to the other 2 or 3 podcasters. If a person knowingly accepts a "conversion" item, are they guilty of a crime?

AND why was NM investigating it for 17 days? I thought he had detectives and investigators to do that for him.
DId he look at the D's plans?
