Very interesting, but I do hear it, very clearly.

"Guys.....down the hill" is what I hear with the nearer releases.

ETA: I just listened to all three recently released clips, and I hear the same on all three.

Or a teacher, coach, friend of the family, a person with hip or leg difficulties, an artificial limb, an abnormal chin, a lazy eye, drop foot, and I can't remember what else.
The guy sounds like a mess. I sure hope LE has a better idea of who he is than we do. Jmo

I think it's very easy to see something in the sketch or video that probably isn't there. We're all trying to formulate a profile for this guy, but without all the details of the crime, we're relying a lot on personal experiences. This gives each of us a unique perspective of BG. But this is also problematic, and fortunately, not the way I suspect LE investigates things. It's difficult to be neutral, but imperative. Someone else back a few pages used the words, "witch hunt." This is exactly what it's become on SM, by the sounds of it. Even on here, to some extent.

Right. I do not see anything unusual in the video or sketch. Looks like a normal person to me. You absolutely cannot glean disorders from either the picture or the video IMO

Exactly. I have seen the veiled accusations on here and know who is being suspected. Definitely a witch hunt.

Funny you mention wrestler. There was one arrested in a nearby county, young college age and I can't seem to figure out why he was arrested but like CE his FB page has a disgusting photo. So bad even his friends complained.

I know I am a broken record...but I still feel the only reason for the PC was to introduce the new sketch and refute the old one. A thing they had no choice but to do. All the rest seems to me to be basic profiler-suggested stuff. And some obvious frustration that this evidence change happened after two years. Jmo

I'm not disagreeing with you. Yes, the PC was to introduce sketch 2, however to me, the big issue is the reason for focus on sketch 2. KWIM? My opinion is, LE has been working with sketch 2 for some time, not just in the previous week to the presser. There is a reason LE is going this direction. That is where my hope is. The reason behind sketch 2.

I don't think they started searching until 5:15.
If the guy walked back through the woods to the car that was parked at the Welfare Building, then he was gone by five.
Then of course there is also the possibility that he participated in the search itself. Jmo

The family were put searching earlier though I appreciate BG could have left through the trees or anywhere rather than the trail (surely he wouldn't be so dumb) but people were definetly around the area before LE at 5.15.

The timeline is just so tight, I'm not disputing it by the way there is no doubt that what the family state is how it happened it just gob smacks me he was able to do what he did in that timeframe with nobody seeing or hearing anything sinister.

As superintendent Carter said “you want to know what we know, well one day you will know”, I have faith that LE are now beginning to put the evidence together ready to make an arrest.

I can say with almost certainty it's not there, the circled space is in between down and hill, there is no words in between.

I don't think so.

Can you tell my why you think they are sped up? And why would they do this- it would cause a distortion in the voice- which could prevent someone in identifying it?

Ummmmm..... it’s called Websleuths. What are we supposed to do here, recap basketball games? No one is naming names or violating TOS. The veiled accusations are based on scanner transcripts that are very objective and aren’t being discussed on this thread.
