What is the rationale for people thinking the man in the red hoodie from the video has any connection to this case? I mean I get that he is male and walking down the street in the city that the crime took place. If someone was to call that in and LE asked you what specifically made you think he had any connection to this case, what would you say? Please tell me there is something more that I am not seeing?
I agree. Him wearing blue jeans isn't a reason either when 95 percent of the male population wear blue jeans

.
Has a profile of the perp been done? Seems to me to be a local person who would know the area or at least be somewhat familiar with the area? He looks like a middle class guy or working class guy to me, IMHO. He appears to be well feed, so not like a drifter as I would guess a drifter would be skinny, no? He also appears to be potentially a hunter, farmer?? Definitely not a health fanatic.

All JMHO.

No official profile has been given, but we're all trying our best here to make up for that! I agree with you, doesn't look like a drifter. I don't think he lives in the immediate area but maybe has some kind of ties there. Owns land perhaps? Or has relatives/friends close by whom he sees occasionally.

I agree he could have covered quickly with something, leaves etc. But I have not yet heard they were in an open field. Is this new information? AFAIK, the trees go almost all the way down to the creek, and they were found 50ft from the water. Is this not true?

I may have misunderstood something I read. I had it in my mind that they were found in a flat field type area. Sorry if I have that wrong.

I'm reading the Wikipedia entry of Israel Keyes.

Modus operandi
Keyes planned murders long ahead of time and took extraordinary action to avoid detection. Unlike most serial killers, he did not have a victim profile. He usually killed far from home, and never in the same area twice. On his murder trips, he kept his mobile phone turned off and paid for items with cash. He had no connection to any of his victims.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel_Keyes

He killed all over the place and not where he lived.

I hope LE is cross checking with all other states if there are similar murders or even matching DNA.

Are there train tracks nearby the bridge? Maybe BG jumped on a train. If BG is not from Delphi, and has no friends or acquaintances, there,(no one in Delphi has identified him) he left town in his car, or by possibly jumping on a train, or maybe hitchhiking.

RE the phone. I know this has been hashed out bigly. but just to use an official source - ISP;

BBM
"Additionally, investigators have released a voice recording, extracted from a video found on Liberty "Libby" German's cell phone, that may be connected to the homicides. Click one of the following links to download the recording:"
http://www.in.gov/isp/delphi.htm

There's only one reason IMO to actually say Found on her Cell Phone.

:cow:

Agree. I think if they didn't have the phone they'd have said "extracted from a video recorded on Libby's phone". I know it's just semantics but LE is pretty careful how they word things.

Anyone know how to delete instead of edit? I posted something and then saw it was a repeat.

When I was 10 a friend and I was at a local park. A man approached and asked if we saw a dog. We said no and he walked off. A few hours later we decided to go home (streetlights were coming on) As we walked through the park again we both saw him standing about 20 meters away and he was holding a knife. We both screamed at each other to run. He chased us both until we got to the main road that ran alongside the park . I know how afraid we were I hate to think how Libby and Abby must of felt

This is horrifying. Sorry to hear this, glad you girls got away. Freaks...

I have not read anything about whether the bodies were concealed. There does appear to be at least one abandoned structure in the area. Here is a story that mentions an abandoned farm building.

And here is a photograph of what appears to be some sort of abandoned structure in the area where the bodies were found.

I'm thinking he could have at least covered them with branches and leaves, possibly put them in or under a log, not necessarily hiding them so well they wouldn't be found, but enough to delay finding them. And why leave them out in an open field when you've got tons of woods all around?

I was asking earlier about if they were exposed as in above ground because I was wondering if theres a chance he had grave(s) predug...just a thought.

Thanks, is that the same one Skibby found, that is "known to locals"?

The PC covers profile type aspects.

Not sure if this helps anyone or not but here's a 3 minute video I made explaining the geography of the CS and how it correlates with what we know and what some have speculated. May help provide a better visual.

I suggest watching the 2 part YouTube videos posted previously. You'll see how easy this actually may have been given the possibility they crossed a sandbar with very low water levels.

This makes me think of duck hunting. And or wade fishing.
