Maybe BG actually followed them there and they were indeed his targets. If we take that theory, then it would not simply be random.

Did the girls eat breakfast out that morning? Stop at a gas station for drinks and snacks before being dropped off? We don't know. We know nothing about their steps that morning before going hiking and taking pictures on the bridge. Maybe he was following the sister's car.

To me this doesn't seem random. MOO.

These have been my questions since day one as well. It is very atypical behaviour and doesn't at all fit into the profile of child killers. I've been racking my brain about it. I feel that the perp was impulsive, reckless. Was it just a "perfect storm" of events that allowed for the perp to do all of this undetected? Or was there indeed a second person, who acted as the lookout? And if Libby had time to take that video of BG from a distance, why didn't she scream for help? You can literally see someone else's property from where she took the photo.

I would guess that the level of threat wasn't to the point of screaming when she took that picture. I can't image anyone would start screaming because someone appears to be walking toward them on a bridge.

Do you guys remember in The Killing Season, they showed the red and black graphic of the US and the bodies found along the highways, alluding to multiple SKs, possibly truckers? I wouldn't mind seeing that visual again as regards to Indiana and bordering states...

Curious what others think: LE gathered evidence here, possible struggle, or am I just seeing things? Maybe the abduction site and down the hill?

How about this one?

Of course, this is all after the fact and goodness knows how many people have been here since that day. Still, it is interesting.

Again, this still is taken from this youtube video by Julie Melvin

Too numerous to list here. Personally I don't even reply to ppl that have texts that show up green instead of an iMessage. Samsung s are great for jr/ high school kiddos tho so cheers for that.

Not sure if you realize it, but you are coming off quite condescending. Here in "meth-land", quite a large amount of people do have Iphones. I think most assumed that she had an Iphone when her grandma described his texts as received but not read and the location of her iphone as pinging around town (thinking find my iphone). Both of these features are available in other phones (such as Samsung's top tier phones), but is integrated and most common in Iphones.

The disturbed earth could have been made by ATV turning around. {IMO}

I thought about this as well, But i'm not sure and atv rider would go under the barricade to turn around? And I also wondered about the size of the disturbed area, in my atv riding experience it seems that that would be a tight area to turn around?

Yellow Rose,
I haven't seen where the timeline said they were to be picked up at 3:pm. The article/link you posted says the following.
At 5:30 p.m., the girls were expected to meet a family member at a predetermined location. When they failed to do so, the family immediately called the police to report the girls missing.
I'm just making sure I didn't miss something. Someone just mentioned the sister was the drop off family member. Where is that link? Thank you!

I'm disappointed in myself. I thought I was better than this. But I guess if the FBI is stuck too, with all their info and resources...

Cmon LE, throw us another bone...

Indeed. My friend in Australia says there would be no difference there, in his particular location of Australia at least.

Here in the northeastern US there's a very big difference between git (which would rhyme with pit, hit, mitt) and get (which would rhyme with pet, met, set).

My friend in Florida however says everythign with the "i" sound, including words like "menu" which she says like "minu".

In some places, not much difference at all. In others, a world of it.

My DH says I pronounce milk as "melk" (I did not believe him) and I just realized I say "git down" instead of get down when I scold my dogs. I have always lived in SE Michigan. I don't do that with a lot of words, but I guess I can no longer get mad at hubs for noticing. And now I can no longer pride myself on good pronunciation. :blushing:

There is a house and a road right there, on the south side. Not on the north, it is much, much more secluded.

In terms of houses, then yes the north would be more secluded. In terms of foot traffic I think the south would be more secluded.

People walk the trails on the north side. Most access the bridge from the trails on the north side.

The south side does have a narrow dirt road which runs under the bridge but at that point the road is a driveway which leads to one house which is over 600 feet away. There is another house over 500 feet away from the south side through the trees but the driveway is good distance before the bridge.

I don't imagine there is a lot of road/foot traffic near the south side of the bridge.

I believe the knew the area quite well and knew the chances of running into other people on the south end of the bridge were slim. I believe that the took Abby and Libby off the south side of the bridge, down the hill to the creek and then across the creek to where they were found.

IF charged in THIS case. Only then. Or if LE names him a POI.

No, if named as a POI or suspect. Doesn't have to be charged, just has to be named.

2) Re what's on BG's head: The FBI site says: The photo appears to depict a White male wearing blue jeans, a blue coat/jacket, and a hoodie. . Again, I'd take LE at their word. It's a hoodie; not hat nor hair.
Link: https://www.fbi.gov/wanted/seeking-info/abigail-williams

SBM..I do believe it's a hoodie he's wearing and there's no hat, but I also believe the hoodie is up in one img & down in the other. In the one pic, I see what I believe is a part in his hair and possibly a small cowlick at his crown. Plus, while they say he's wearing a hoodie, they didn't actually say it's up in both pics.

What about posting his picture on all the major hunting forums and gun forums, particularly the regional ones? Maybe someone there might recognize him...duck hunters, deer hunters...

No, if named as a POI or suspect. Doesn't have to be charged, just has to be named.

That is what the member said. ONLY if charged in this case OR if named a POI/suspect by LE in this case.

Different wording - same meaning.

The helicopter footage is a must see. What strikes me are the houses around. Connection somewhere?

Just a quick question.

If sleuthing the property owner is off limits when does it become possible again? When charged?

IF charged in THIS case. Only then. Or if LE names him a POI.

You're agreeing with ninij9 who was responding to a question.
