Are we forgetting DNA, which MUST be present on the girls. Obviously, it has not matched RL or anyone else. More important than what someone is wearing or looks like.

I thought news reports were saying DNA was retrieved and being tested currently, or did they say they got results back? If the bodies were washed in the stream or dragged back through the stream conclusive DNA may be harder to retrieve I would think...

Not that I know of or read...but I'll take a stab at it.

Here's my profile of the killer:

White male (obviously)
Age: 34-42 years of age
Violent Predator with criminal past. (Sex crimes, molestation, rape, etc...)
Victim was most likely a g/f's child or close relative.
Served Time and is known to LE.
Register SO but possibly absconded/non compliant
6'-6'2 inches tall. Approx 230-250 lbs
Lives within 10 miles of the murder site.
Possible employment: Truck Driver, Taxi Driver, Factory Worker, unemployed recently.
Most likely divorced or never been married. Probably no children of his own.

Statistics are often used for profiles, and rightfully so. In this sad case, that's what we are left with.

Just so no stone is left unturned, the families *hopefully* have considered all the people coming into their circles the past year and who might have been acting provocatively toward either girl.

If there are no leads that way, we are left with a random killer waiting for the right opporuntity.

There is that other theory floating about- they were catfished. I am not sure I am ready to buy into that one just yet.

how does the crime seem high-octane, desperate and adrenalin driven to you? we don't know anything about how the crime was committed unless I've missed something significant

what pictures of him walking by a tree are you referencing? can you provide an MSM link? ETA: do you mean the trees that are below the bridge and some branches are seen in the background?

Yea, I think this perp would have a hard time hiding his guilt in the way the crime was committed. It seems high octane, desperate and adrenalin driven, though I do think planned. That type of personality seems like it would make it harder for them to conceal. I'm thinking the perp waiting in the car (working from that theory) would be the more seasoned criminal (w/violence) and the one in LE photos was more of a newbie. This might even be his first crime of this severity. Thank god this case got the coverage it did. Maybe that will be a deterrant to a repeat at least there... This perp seems short and stocky given the pictures of the tree I've seen in close ups of it and in comparing the pictures of him as he was walking by it. And shorter guys who are wide in the middle sometimes have baggy pants that are bunched at the bottom like this guy's were. It really does look like he has a white scruff too from how the picture looks lighter than skin to the left of his mouth as the viewer (which would be his right where the sun is shining on him).​

Don't know if this has been posted but I found it and thought there were a couple of interesting things.If you scroll down when the site shows up you will be able to do the 360 street view from on the bridge.Might give folks some perspective.The second interesting thing I saw was that if you look at the update log,it hasn't been updated in 7 years...until after the murders. Not sure if you are in a browser or Tapatalk. In Tapatalk, I highlight the post, then click the 3 dots in the top right corner. In the dropdown, select Copy Post URL. Paste that in your reply in the new thread. If you also want to quote, copy the text and paste into the new thread, as well. Around the quote, you will want to put QUOTE (surrounded by [ ] square brackets) at the beginning and
/QUOTE (surrounded by [ ] brackets) at the end. Then, add your comments on the next line.

What I do is copy and paste the post, then highlight the entire post and put [ QUOTE ][/QUOTE ] around it. (without the spaces)

They did search. My belief and JMO is they looked the wrong way off that bridge. It was getting dark by 5:30 pm and first report the girls were missing. It takes time for LE to get the necessary people there ... fire, other LE's, volunteers, etc. By then it was dark. They tired and I appreciate their efforts.

I always wonder why they weren't found that night. At 5:30 there still was enough daylight. Based on the time they were found the next late morning it didn't take long.

I carefully avoided using names here and do not mention any specific offenders, but provide w the way you can see them and draw your own conclusions, especially if RL seems as unlikely to you as he does me. I don't see a guy his age dragging those girls down from his property without leaving a large amount of evidence or without thinking he wouldn't be investigated thoroughly and I kinda feel sorry for the guy given this other information, which IMO seems more probable in an Occam's Razor kinda way.
