In other court documents I have read from the past involving his DUI case(s), they have remanded RL to the custody of the Sheriff of Carroll County, so perhaps this is not odd. jmo.

IMO, if they wanted to protect him they could have went about this in a totally different manner. IMO, this is LE making a statement without actually "making a statement". This "all hands on deck" approach speaks volumes to me - JMO.

HOPEFULLY they will either be able to exonerate him or charge him- it seems like they should know one way or another at this point!

They also probably have more than a few deputies so why is the head guy, the sheriff of Carroll County Tobe L, doing the escorting? IMO it's sending a message but time will tell.

I've known it since the beginning. LE searched early morning on the 14th including with divers and dogs. Once that search was concluded, the volunteers and LE searchers were released to search. Also see: Scanner Thread
