It seems to ,me that I saw the picture somewhere that said " 2:07". I can't remember. But most of the versions say " 7 hours ago". But if true and the 2:07 came from the picture that would mean that at some point LE or someone got into Libby"s actual SC account?

Now I am confused.. Imagine that. :D
I went back to the very first thread and the 2:07 was very early, from the first day they were missing, before they were found. The article isn't online anymore, but from the quote it appears the grandfather gave that time in an interview.

First thread, post #11

Now I have a recollection that Webby did some research into the SC times but cannot remember the conclusion or whether it was on this main thread or the image thread but it may help to understand the 02.07 time, where it came from and it's accuracy perhaps.

This is absolutely true AFAIK. It was someone else who got it from their own SC account 7 hours after and LE didn't know that exact time stamp;

"CASAREZ: No, the photograph that is the Snapchat photo that is tragically taken by one of the girls -- there it is right there -- of her friend, this
was taken at approximately what time? What is the timestamp on the photo?

RILEY: Well, because it`s a Snapchat, there is no timestamp on it, so we`re not sure of the exact time. We know it was after the time that they
were let off. But the exact time, we do not have that.

CASAREZ: Now, there`s a lot of things going on social media that nestled in the foliage there may be a human being that is lurking. Have your
forensic investigators looked at that photograph to determine if there is someone amongst the branches behind her?

RILEY: We have looked at it. We`ve blown it up. As a matter of fact, that was done right after we got the picture -- we had access to the
picture

So at some point they got "access" to the picture. Now that I think of it where did the 2:07 time come from? Anyone?

That's odd. All of my phone photos have a time stamp. Now I'm wondering if LE has the phone.

If you, or anyone else, who may be interested, the report on Feb 14th states that the girls went to the bridge to "hang out".

"...photography, one of the 13-year-old’s favorite hobbies. The last time Abby would be seen alive was on February 13 on a hike at the Monon High Bridge to enjoy that hobby with one of her best friends, Liberty “Libby” German.

The photos from that day tell two different stories; one of two teenage girls enjoying each other’s company while walking along the trail, snapping photos full of smiles as they cross the abandoned railroad tracks.

The other is a story investigators are still trying to piece together..."

CS Images
This is for the poster who argued about the size and place of the crime scene in the last thread #59. The size of the CS is 1/3 of an acre.

Thank you. I recall that past discussion. It pertained to the lack of leaf disturbance within the crime scene area observed in photos taken after blockades were removed, supporting a possible hanging death. Given the number of professionals who attended the scene, within that 1/3 acre I'm certain leaf disturbance occurred regardless of the cause of death and the area was restored to its natural state as much as possible. MOO

I'm still not understanding what or why it matters why they were at the bridge. A walk, a hike, a hang out, taking pictures. None of it matters in the grand scheme of things. Does it? idk

It's very helpful! "pulled off Libby German's cell phone by this team". I think it means what they said and they have the phone.

Yes, that's also what those words indicate to me.

You mean pristine state?

I think it only matters (IMO) if they had gone there to meet someone. The rest not so much.

Only if there were any evidence they had planned to meet someone IMO.
Eta.cross post with BOP.

If they planned on meeting someone I am 100% positive LE would have them in their sights. In todays world with SM there seems to be no way they didn't have some communication electronically.

ETA - I hope it was someone they were there to meet because it seems much easier that LE can track them down.

If they were meeting someone secretly then they may not have arranged it via SM at all. Or they could have used an app that doesn't keep a record. That would be difficult to trace if that were the case. MOO.

Webby here. I was very confused about the "2:07" versus the "7 hours ago" as well. Let me dig for those posts regarding this issue. We received excellent explanations. Give me a minute, or six.:D

On a Paula Zahn "On the Case" a young girl is found murdered. This was over thirty years ago and the LE on the show uses almost the same phrases we have heard here, i.e how stunned and horrified the police were, etc...also LE came to help from every possible agency. All sounds very familiar. I think the reactions of the Delphi LE are just what any LEO feels when they come upon a murdered child. Jmo

I can find no LE source of the 2:07 time mentioned.

Only Radar:
"As Radar reported, German posted a Snapchat of Williams at 2:07 pm on February 13, 2017, the last time anyone had any communication from the girls. The photo captured the image of a man walking behind them, and cops said he is the primary suspect."
http://radaronline.com/celebrity-ne...abigail-williams-liberty-german-bodies-found/

In the same report above, Radar claims to have an exclusive connection to the Sheriff.
"Sheriff Tobe Leazenby told Radar exclusively, “The FBI, State Police and local police applied for a search warrant for the property owned by Ronald Logan, who is currently in custody.”

I'm not sure if I believe that as Radar pays for news. My theory is Radar publishes anything and never actually verifies the source.

Thanks so much!
The DM and Indychannel have it still.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...er-one-murdered-Indiana-teens-speaks-out.html

I think the DM published it and all the others ran with it but none of them give a source. This makes me think that wherever they got the photos they also got the 2:07 time. I do not think it came from LE so what timeline was LE going by....

Gosh it's been a long 60 threads.:maddening:

From the conversation on Thread 55 (Gisjoe's posts have SnapChat picture examples):

"2:07" versus "7 hours ago"

From Gisjoe: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?336825-IN-Abigail-Williams-13-amp-Liberty-German-14-Delphi-13-Feb-2017-55&p=13348029#post13348029

Another from Gisjoe:http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...Delphi-13-Feb-2017-55&p=13348145#post13348145

These posts were very informative in helping me to understand the time stamp issue (which I am embarrassed to say I could not give a coherent explanation to anyone myself, thus the links).

I think he described it accurately. Near a public trail, I'd imagine it's due diligence for investigators to not leave behind any obvious signs of the murder of two young girls, particularly in respect of the families. Do they really need photos circulating on the internet to the contrary, I think not.
