Pieces do fall into place if this is the guy. A drifter without steady employment wouldn't be noticed as missing from work on the day of the murder, no regular co-workers to recognize his image on the wanted posters or any possible scratches, etc. He's generic enough looking to pass in the drifting world as just another guy on the run from the courts. He's "local" to Indiana, but not really a local that people know.

So many of us worried that he wouldn't be caught until he struck again, but it never occurred to me it would be a grown man as the next victim (if the CO bicycle rider s a victim of DN, which we don't know yet). I kinda sorta am wondering if the bike rider came upon DN doing something on the trail like exposing himself, which is one of DN's past charges, and was shot because he was a witness? It just seems odd that a sex offender who possibly killed two teen girls would then kill a grown man out of the blue. Does he get off on killing on trails in general or killing girls specifically?

TOTAL SPECULATION as we await more details on this guy.

jmopinion only.
It was the 14th. Time to kill...

"DELPHI, Ind.– Indiana State Police (ISP) said Thursday a man arrested in Colorado is now considered a “person of interest” in the*murders of two Delphi teenagers."

I might win the award for most dense today - but where in this article? I’ve read it and watched the video numerous times.
-
“State police say...”
“On Thursday, ISP called Nations a “person of interest...”
-
I see that - but where is ISP saying it? Over the phone? (I really need to remember to take my vitamins.)

If you're dense, I'm denser. lol

So he could go off grid again? That can't be right surely?
Unless they have some other charges in CO that they can arrest him with. If they truly believe he is a murderer, I have to believe that they won't let him out of their sights if he does walk out on bond.

I can't click on the link... can that be fixed? TIA... I read that article too but before the fox 59 article stating he was indeed a POI... more fog of war..hmm would really be nice to have a statement definitively from the ISP...

This is nothing more than a "rehash" of prior articles. Journalist wannabe who hasn't caught up with the entire story yet. Geez....

He is a POI.

The Fox59 article was posted pretty much at the exact same time as the Pharostribune article and they contradict each other in terms of naming him a POI. The first article reports that he has been named a POI whereas the second says he is not.

Sounds like the media is getting ahead of themselves, and we should keep that in mind. I for one am waiting anxiously for a presser directly from LE.

If this turns out to be the guy, and the case was solved by some random woman in Colorado <modsnip>, I am even more confused (and angered) by LE's initial statements about the public not having to fear, etc. How they acted confident. If this guy ends up being BG, they had nothing all along!!
