Now you got me wondering did LE look at the camera view from the outside camera when they looked at the camera view from inside buying the cigar.

Just makes no sense they left that dumpster there till Monday night if they knew it was a crime scene before.

I think it would be so interesting to have a LE insider explain to us why they do what they do, but it would help the criminal scumbags too much, lol.

I kinda think they had that dumpster under CLOSE surveillance while they were waiting. If they had to follow procedure to get warrants for MP's place,maybe they also had to do the same for the dumpster? I don't really know, but I'm willing to consider that they might actually know what they are doing and why.

Couple of questions:
Have police collected the brick? (Not doubting that it was MP...just doubting anything MP says because, well, he is a killer of a little girl)
Why were the kids staying with him?
If it is true that he had the kids at least since Tuesday, that would mean he murdered Aliahna less/more give or take within a day of collecting her? Who in that trailer park saw her? the other kids? When did the family see the kids?

I remember that 911 tribute where the firefighter was describing the people falling from the higher floors of the twin towers...and listening to the crashes as they hit, and he says he looked up and wondered, "How bad does it have to be up there that the better option is to jump?"

I do NOT believe that the options were as poor for the family in this situation. I won't until I see actual concrete proof that this mother had NO other options. I won't. I doubt I will see that. It boils down to choices. And very badly mangled ones. JMO. I am ****** off at TS, her mother and pretty much that whole family. My rage level has already gone over the limit for MP.

O/T. Bless your heart. Your posts stand out to me because when I read them, I can just feel your rage. I know some people are affected more than others, some are able to read, log off and then disconnect and go about life until they sign back on to read another horrific detail. As for me, I have found myself laying in bed the past few nights thinking of this case, which is normal for me, but this is the first time I have had nightmares that are so bad, I wake and don't want to go back to sleep. And I need my sleep since I babysit all day, but what I've been having seems more like night terrors. My nightmares haven't really been about this case, but just other things in my life and there's always a baby in my dream with something horrible like a car accident or falling out of a crib and scary stuff like that. I know it's got to be because of all of the reading I'm doing on here. But it's like I can't look away because I feel I would be doing an injustice to these little ones who need someone to speak for them. Hope you can sleep well and are able to get this off your mind. I sympathize with your anger and rage. It's hard not to feel that way. :furious:

IDK - it is odd that LE didn't "find" or take that dumpster until Monday night. But, remember - what he put in that dumpster wasn't "identifiable" (no hands, no head) - but still, one would think LE would have looked in that dumpster before Monday. I guess they were still looking for a live child. IDK.

This whole case is very disturbing.

Funeral Directors are required by law to fill out a form called Statement of Death by Funeral Director. It is then faxed to SS within 10 days of receiving a decedent.

Also, they can't inter or cremate until they have this Statement. Am I correct on this, Grandma? TY

Has anyone besides me wondered whether the mom/stepdad/MP/grandpa (before his death) were involved in "lending" the girls out for the sexual gratification of RSO's? It could explain the previous abuse in Iowa, as well as the PTSD. It could explain why the mom was willing to move to a community of sex offenders & why no one was checking up on the girls while MP was "babysitting" them for a week, and it could explain why some kids remained at home while the three girls were sent to MP's place. Maybe MP expected to have a week of "fun" with the girls & Aliahna gave him a hard time & fought him, so he killed her. Then he had to hide the body & come up with a story, so he enlisted the help of mom/stepdad because they would have known they were doing something wrong by lending the girls to MP for sexual gratification in the first place, so they would have been very willing to help MP avoid getting caught; thus, the fake story about illness & the defending of MP to the media before he confessed.

I don't know, obviously, and this is all pure speculation not based on any fact or news article. It's just an idea that's been rattling around in my head, so I thought I'd toss it out there and see if anyone else has thought about it, too, or if I'm out in left field trying to make sense of a completely senseless crime.

Yes, I've thought about this from the very beginning, since before we were allowed to say anything at all questioning the parent's involvement, responsibility, or complicity.

There are other even worse scenarios possible here that have not been stated. I hate to think about them and just can't find enough reason to type them or discuss them.

I'm trying hard to keep my rage at manageable levels.

I can't keep up with the speed of posts, so I am behind today. I apologize if this has been addressed again recently, but has anyone found any connection between MP and the Kyle Holland dog mauling case. For those who don't know, MP had become a fan of the "Justice for Kyle Holland" FB page. This young boy was killed and partially eaten by a German Shepherd/wolf hybrid dog owned by two people who have been arrested. The case occurred somewhere near Detroit, Michigan, I think.

I find it interesting that a brutal child killer would be a fan of a FB page for a brutally killed child. Also, TS was involved in something in Iowa where she was trying to get permission to own a "dangerous dog" because she had a disabled child (link posted here, and possibly in media thread.)

TIA for any thoughts on this.

I'm confused on this because I thought it was stated early on she moved from a residence 11-12 miles from the trailer park. Did she move to the trailer park from IA or did she move to the trailer park from somewhere in or near the Ft Wayne area?

Not big on elaborate explanations but....LE had to go there on Friday. IF MP started to dispense of the bags on Friday and LE found something (search off on Saturday) maybe they quietly placed another dumpster in place of the original one and processed it at another location? Thinking out loud....

Good points. I have thin walls in a multi family property and I can hear all kind of things outside, including car doors which close much further than 30' away. I can hear the resin chair fall over if it's windy outside. I find it h.ard to believe anyone would not fall over to the ground if hit upon the head and find it hard to believe someone would not hear something fall to the ground.

I agree she probably wasn't beaten on the steps, though I lean toward it taking place outside. The brick may have been a weapon of opportunity. OR...if the brick was indoors, then that says "premeditation." That might also leave about all sorts of stone debris in carpet fibers and/or clothes.

You'd be surprised, though, how loud trailer parks can actually be. Loud a/c or heaters, loud plumbing, TVs, dogs, people up late, stereos playing...if the park is near a road or highway, you might constantly hear vehicles driving by. There's a lot of white noise in trailer parks.

I think it's very possible no one heard or saw anything, especially if no words were spoken. Be that as it may, the forensics will tell us. I have confidence in that. If the evidence is there to be found, Sheriff Fries will find it.

Listening to Fries talk to NG it seems that LE and FBI may know what his motive was, which I assume we may hear on Friday. I'm thinking that's why the story with the brick is a lie. He's probably going with that story as part of his excuse as to why he flew off the handle. Knowing what we've heard so far, that monster may come up with some kind of b.s. like he killed her in self defense. WOW, if the motive turned out to be some b.s. like that, I can just imagine our anger then. I just think he softened his confession a lot more than we know. JMO and speculation.

It just dawned on me we have no idea what day he threw the body parts away.

Have we ever figured out if he had a vehicle/drove to the gas station. I am still confused about calling off the search Sat afternoon and the LE not knowing where the body was until he confessed and told them, on the other hand the sheriff said it was a good thing they did the 1 mile search. Maybe as posted earlier, they watched the dumpster, seems kind of strange though.

Regarding the dumpster and whether LE checked it on that Friday night/Saturday morning...I'm sure they did. But at the time they were looking for an intact little 9 year old girl. Do they really open every small bag in a dumpster during a search where they have been told that the child left the home on her own free will? Do they automatically assume that the missing child's body parts could be in small pieces in freezer bags and likely grocery or small trash bags in a dumpster?

As for calling off the search on Saturday/Christmas Eve I'm sure it was just a matter of lack of manpower. While they had people available who were scheduled to work the holiday, it's unlikely that they could get enough people to form a decent search party Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. I believe it was stated that the regular patrols would continue to be on the lookout in the area for her.

I agree - LE was searching for a live girl at that point & did not have probable cause for a full search (warrant). After interviewing MP & uncovering his lies, LE logically followed the path, got the necessary warrants to search, on the 26 Dec read MP his Miranda Rights & he confessed . . .

I believe that park is near enough to an interstate also that would have made considerable noise.

If Aliahna was not conscious when he took her outside, I think it would have been relatively quiet while he was...well, you know...with the brick.
