What's amazing is that here again, we have white collar, educated "respectable" people involved. Just like JW's father, and the former governor of Oregon.

I keep saying, this stuff goes deep, and needs a structure of those in power in order to survive. All it takes is a few covering for a few, and so on.

Not so odd, considering that Dan Rather has done an award winning report on the sex trade issue in Portland in the past year. It's becoming a huge story. I just don't see a sheriff using the word "surprised" to describe Kyron's case if it relates to his being a victim in this crapola.

Tonight I am thinking of Shaniya Davis and what her own mother did to her.

I remember at the beginning of Shaniya's case, nobody believed that she could have been sold, but low and behold, she was Anyhow, the more and more I am thinking about this angle to Kyron's case, the more I lean towards child *advertiser censored* being involved and not necessarily a trafficking ring. I know the two can be related, but in my thoughts, I am seperating the two. The connection of JW's father being involved with child *advertiser censored* is what set my thinking off, DDS and Terri could've been exposed to people involved with this type of thing, and it could have started as innocently as TH posting a bathtime pic of Kyron and Baby K (or something, you get my drift), and it went from there. Child *advertiser censored* doesn't necessarily have to be shocking, sickening images of kids performing a lewd act. It can be as simple as, like I said, a bathtime pic, but given to the wrong person, it is viewed in a whole different (disgusting) light.

My personal opinion is that there is definitely a sex element to this case. What that is, I am not sure. But, I do agree with others that if LE found evidence of child *advertiser censored* in this, one would think that someone would be arrested by now, but maybe they are still trying to figure out who is involved and to what extent. Or maybe they are trying to dig deeper and uncover a larger network of people. If it's such an issue in Portland, it would make sense that they would want to dig deeper and take the whole "ring" down rather than just a few people? I admit, I know pretty much zero about the whole subject and I honestly hope I'm wrong. I hope that Kyron wasn't involved in anything like this

It absolutely does "run" in families. It does not, however, indicate that if one is sexually abused, one will go on to abuse others. However, the prevalence of sexual abusers having been themselves victims is a statistic that is well known.

There are many many more people who never abuse, never needing to relive that pain by victimizing someone else. When an abuser uses that excuse, as Kaine's brother did, it is a justification, and an attempt to normalize their own feelings of perversion by creating another victim so that they can understand their own victimization.

I'm more referencing the "something big" and learning "things we didn't want to know" more than Terri personally. I'm sure if Kyron was found to be involved in something sinister like this, Terri is just a tiny cog in a huge wheel (if she had anything to do with it at all).

In the video (at about 2:53), Sgt. Mike Gieger (sp?) of Portland Sexual Assault Detail says, "...they look for them in schools." It's paraphrased a bit because they are talking more about young girls rather than young boys, but I would think that the MO is the same.

searching on the net. I'm not saying that I think this guy has anything to do with Kyron's dissappearance, but, is it just me , or does anyone else see some things in his life that might seem similar to Kyron's case?

1) He's a teacher ( or was a teacher)....Step-mom Terri...a teacher

2) He's an avid marathon runner. Didn't DeeDee and Terri meet initially at running events.

3) He lives only 10 miles from Skyline Elementary....only a 24 minute drive.

Welcome Last Resort and yikes, all of that is a little creepy...maybe his arrest came about while LE was working on this case, who knows?

All I know is that there are far too may of these creeps in that one city, for me to be sold on Terri just yet. I would think the prosecution isn't crazy about all of the publicity the perverts are getting lately, if they are convinced it will be Terri they go after...leaves a lot of options for reasonable doubt.
