Jamila al-Shanti, the widow of Hamas co-founder Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi and the first woman elected to the terror group’s political bureau, was killed in an Israeli airstrike.

The reports give no details on the location of the strike, saying only that it occurred at dawn.

Al-Shanti in 2021 became the first woman elected to the Hamas political bureau, its highest decision-making body.

I just want to unfurl your link for those without Xitter ... and it is a VERY important post:

OFFICIAL:
@IDF
calls on Hamas terrorists hiding under Shifa Hospital to surrender. We have given enough warning. Its protected status under international law has lapsed, and we are fully within our rights to counter Hamas' belligerent military activities.

And they are fully within their rights IAW International Law,

From Bellingcat's Robert Evans:
people who deny Assad's mass murder repackaging footage of Syrians as Gazans for profit is one of the more disgusting media phenomenons right now

IDF activity in Gaza: IDF fighters uncovered a tunnel shaft in a mosque, the Air Force attacked about 200 terrorist targets in the last day and the Navy attacked a military camp that was used by the Hamas naval formation

Israeli forces take over military police headquarters in Gaza; Navy bombs Hamas naval base; infantry forces discover tunnel shaft inside mosque. via

Saving this post ! ^^^

I don't think we can trust a lot of the footage and photos of carnage in Gaza as it cannot be trusted.
And who's to say some of the deaths and inuries aren't caused by Hamas ?
Will they tell the truth about where the missile came from ?
Omo.

Thank you so much!!! I don't know how to post them properly.

It must be tough and beyond frightening to really know.... who is non-terrorist Palestinian and who is a Palestinian-terrorist put in a "border" house by the government in Gaza.

NOW: NSC spokesman John Kirby confirms Hamas/Palestinian Islamic Jihad using hospitals in Gaza "to conceal and to support their military operations and to hold hostages"

"Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad big members operate a command and control node from Al Shifa in Gaza City. they have stored weapons there, and they're prepared to respond to an Israeli military operation against that facility," he says.

I don't believe the US would declare hospitals are housing military operations without 150% proof. That's a pretty big declaration.

Soon, very soon we will see first hand the Shifa Hamas Command Center.

<modsnip: quoted post was removed.> Well at this point how would any country know for sure that those they are taking in are not HAMAS supporters? How do they vet those that they would bring to their land? I understand that everyone in Gaza is not supportive of HAMAS, but it is who is running the show at this point. All those terrorists have mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children... how would countries know for sure they were not opening their country up for these terrorists too? I am not suggesting everyone is a terrorist so please don't read that in what I've said.

Thinking what we saw early on with one terrorist telling his parents about what he'd done and they were thrilled for him. They might not be part of HAMAS, but the support of it is equally disturbing.

I understand why countries are leery.

Also, too many countries in the middle east won't stand up and say exactly what HAMAS is. Until the world takes a stand against terrorism we will never get rid of it. They will always have a safe place to go hide within these countries that won't denounce it and won't stand up on their own to eradicate it from their borders.

It is. I once lived in a border property on the US / Mexican border.

A certain number of people on border ranches, homes and properties were actively smuggling drugs and illegal aliens into the United States- maybe terrorists? Others acted as look outs.

Some native Indians would even manipulate their sovereign status on reservations to facilitate alien and drug smuggling- in return for sufficient amounts of cash.

But.... US police, National Guard and Border Patrol operated in a democracy. There were somethings they just could not do. Those things included creating "Off limits" streets, Facilitating land "claims", and..... welding shut doors of private homes and small businesses.

Such practices may seem like good ideas- but they can contribute to bigger head aches.
