“Tzarfati had been presumed captive until now. He was celebrating his 27th birthday at the party with his girlfriend, Shoval, and friends, when he was abducted to Gaza by terrorists who killed at least 364 people at the music festival and kidnapped many others. A date of death and other details have not been provided.

Atzili, 49, had also been presumed kidnapped since the attack. On October 8, Atzili’s phone was tracked in Gaza, and friends said that while his family’s home had been burned down, there was no blood or signs of struggle, and he was declared missing and presumed captive.”

“On the morning of October 7, Atzili, who was part of the Kibbutz Nir Oz civilian security team, left his home to fight the Hamas-led terrorists who had invaded the kibbutz, as thousands invaded the south, killing more than 1,200 people and seizing some 240 hostages. His wife stayed behind in the safe room of their home, where terrorists found her and took her captive.”

(His wife was released on Wednesday)

Hamas has no regrets over October 7, 'war of liberation' is coming - official

“I can promise a war of liberation is coming,” warned Hamden, “not just another October 7.”

As truce ends, Herzog, Qatari Emir seen in first public meeting of countries’ leaders

Meeting comes as Qatari-brokered ceasefire with Hamas collapses; President meets King Charles, other world leaders, on sidelines of UN environment summit in UAE

“Qatar is a crucial communications channel with Hamas, as it hosts the terror group’s political bureau and is the primary residence of its self-exiled leader Ismail Haniyeh, as well as its former leader Khaled Mashaal. The country is one of Hamas’s main backers, transferring hundreds of millions of dollars to the terror group annually.”

Nearly two months after Oct. 7, for many Israelis, fate of relatives still a mystery

AP — There was no trace of Hanan Yablonka — not on the 42-year-old Israeli’s social media accounts nor on his phone, found in the bullet-riddled car he and three friends tried to flee in after Hamas terrorists attacked the music festival they were attending in southern Israel.

The friends were killed in the Oct. 7 assault. But nearly two months later, Yablonka’s family still has no news about what happened to him. He is one of dozens of people still unaccounted for after 3,000 Hamas-led terrorists burst across the border into Israel, killing some 1,200 people, most of them civilians, and taking some 240 hostages.

Some of the bodies of those who died were so badly burned in fires or explosions during the attacks that there’s little left to identify. Others who might still be alive haven’t been traced, forcing families to live in limbo.

Not to be confused with Sinwar “October 7 was just a rehearsal.”

A short time ago, we reported the death of Kibbutz Nir Oz hostage 85-year-old Arye Zalmanovich. Now, the kibbutz has announced two more of its residents who have died.

Maya Goren, 56,was a kindergarten teacher and nanny in the kibbutz. Her husband Avner was among those murdered in the 7 October attack.

Ronen Engel, 55, was a photographer and volunteer for Israel's emergency services. His wife and two daughters were taken hostage by Hamas and were among those released during the truce this week.

‘We are abandoned’: Ceasefire made little difference to displaced in Gaza

It took only seconds for the bombs to start falling on Gaza again. The week-long ceasefire ended at 7am local time, and almost immediately the sound of explosions filled the corridors of al-Nasr hospital in the south of the territory.

By mid-morning, 32 people were dead and the already crowded wards of Gaza’s remaining hospitals were struggling with a new influx of patients, according to local reports.

“This is the biggest still functioning hospital in Gaza. It’s at 200%-plus capacity,” said James Elder, a spokesperson for Unicef, in a video on X. “The health system is overwhelmed, it cannot take more children with the wounds of war.”

He spoke from a room crammed with children; families seeking treatment for injuries or the infectious diseases that are spreading fast, mixed together in hospitals with those seeking shelter from the gathering cold.

Nowhere feels safe from bombs, he added, as he described the rapid resumption of hostilities; one had already landed just a few dozen meters away from the hospital.

The people of Gaza know what is coming, after seven weeks of intense bombardment and a ground invasion in the north that killed more than 15,000 people, over two-thirds of them women and children.

Puts Israel on a par with Putin's Russia which is also alleged to assassinate enemies of the state.
My opinion
After the holocaust, Israel still hunts down those Nazis that still live to punish them. There isn't anything wrong with that. And the Hamas leaders are no different. And Israel has stated they will hunt them all down and kill them. Nothing wrong with that. Why is it wrong to hold the leaders, the architects of horror responsible?

In my opinion, it’s also easy for some people in other countries who have not been victims of radical Islam extremist terror attacks themselves and all too familiar with their terroristic ideologies to say just lie down and say take it.

If you haven’t had your own people killed when a terrorist said “Allah Akbar” and flew into a tower, ETC., and then fought to defeat the enemy afterwards, then…

I think it’s obvious how terrorists should be dealt with. And it doesn’t include lying down.

The same goes for people who’s family and generations weren’t wiped out in the Holocaust.

How many of the 6 Million Holocaust victims would have lived if an aggressive response wasn’t taken sooner. How many less people would have been brutally tortured…

Rocket sirens triggered in towns across central Israel, as Hamas extends rocket range further

Incoming rocket sirens are sounding across central Israel, as Hamas appears to further expand the range of fire since the ceasefire collapsed this morning.

The alerts are activated in Rishon LeZion, Lod, Ramla, Be’er Yaakov, Ness Ziona, Or Yehuda, Holon, Ashdod, Rehovot, and many other smaller towns.

IDF strikes terror cell in southern Lebanon; 2 rockets fired at Kiryat Shmona intercepted

The IDF says it struck a terror cell in southern Lebanon, close to the northern community of Zar’it, as Hezbollah resumes attacks on Israel.

Several rockets were also fired from Lebanon at army posts along the border near Rosh Hanikra and Maragaliot, and also at the northern city of Kiryat Shmona, the IDF says.

Two rockets fired at Kiryat Shmona were intercepted by the Iron Dome, it says.

That map is something else.

"The IDF works strongly against the terrorist organizations and makes great efforts to distinguish between the civilians and the terrorists. The residents of the Gaza Strip are not our enemy," said Adraee in the video. "Because of this, the IDF conducts a controlled and precise evacuation of the Gazan population with the aim of removing them as much as possible from the war zone."

#عاجل In preparation for the next stages of the war, the IDF publishes a map of the evacuation areas (“blocks”) in the Gaza Strip: dividing the territory of the Strip into areas according to the division into known neighborhoods in order to allow Gazans to orient themselves, understand instructions, and move from specific places if they are asked to do so. This is to ensure their safety. Follow the map carefully.
It seems like IDF has a good plan here to allow for those that want to move to do so and it seems very clear with rather specific instructions on where to go. I am not sure I've seen such efforts in other wars on the part of one side to help the other side move to safety. I am seeing one side try everything they can to get innocent civilians out of the way. Too bad the other side isn't helping their own people even a fraction of this much.. they are also not warning any civilians in Israel about where their rockets are headed.

Yet the world cries in outrage over what Israel is doing.

Interesting they aren't upset that HAMAS is firing at Israel.. matter of fact, they fired first today.. they fired during the ceasefire too. No outrage over that. No acknowledgement that Israel showed GREAT restraint.

I guess that's how it goes. the good guys are expected to be perfect and the bad guys get a pass because the world knows they are terrorists.

The world hasn't said exactly how Israel should deal with these terrorists either.. just criticism that they are doing it wrong.. well exactly how should one deal with terrorists? Nobody wants to say that... just scream at Israel for killing innocent people.

My opinion

Did the U.S. taking out Bin Laden and other terrorist leaders put the U.S. on par with Putin's Russia? These are not "enemies of the state" for the U.S. or Israel, but international terrorists as identified by the international community, whether it is Sinwar or Bin Laden or al-Baghdadi.

US IS PREPARING TRAVEL BANS ON JEWISH SETTLERS INVOLVED IN ATTACKS, OFFICIAL SAYS

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — The Biden administration is preparing to impose travel bans on extremist Jewish settlers implicated in a rash of attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, a senior U.S. official said Friday.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his war Cabinet on Thursday that the administration is looking for Israel to hold settlers accountable for such attacks but would not wait to act itself, according to the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss private diplomatic talks.

Visa bans against an as-yet undetermined number of settlers could be announced as early as next week, the official said. The official spoke to reporters accompanying Blinken on his latest trip to the Middle East as he flew from Tel Aviv to Dubai.

[…]

Blinken alluded to the concern at a news conference on Thursday after his meetings in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.

“We’re looking to the Israeli government to take some additional steps to really put a stop to this. And at the same time, we’re considering our own steps,” he said.
