I don’t understand how you witness 1400 people massacred and then worry about the hardness of future generations. What a world.
Absolutely. It's really unfortunate that HAMAS is at this point Gaza. They have created a terrorist state and an environment where all those young Palestinians are being taught alarming things from the time they are little kids. Who then is the enemy and who isn't? If they are harboring the terrorists aren't they then also terrorists? I realize some have not choice, but as we've seen with the things they are uncovering some of the "innocent civilians" are actually supporters of HAMAS. The parents that praised their son for the 10 murders? Look at the people around the world that are having these rallies and the things they are saying and doing against Israel and supporting the atrocities that occurred.

I'd say most of those people of the future generations were already being indoctrinated to believe Israel was bad and HAMAS and their allies are "good". Eradicating HAMAS is necessary for Israel AND Gaza.

Protests planned after death of Hamas leader in Israeli prison

Reporting from Ramallah, occupied West Bank
The Palestinian Prisoners’ Association are saying [in a statement] that a Hamas leader from a town in the occupied West Bank, who was arrested on October 9, [on Monday] died in custody. [The man was] called Omar Daraghmeh, he was a highly respected Hamas leader.

[The Israeli prison services] are saying that he was taken ill, that he was being treated in a clinic, an ambulance was called but by the time the ambulance arrived, he had died.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad are calling this a murder. They are saying that the Israelis have assassinated him. There have been protests in the town from which he was taken, Tubas, in the northeast of the occupied West Bank. There have also been calls for more protests in Ramallah [on Tuesday].

"highly respected" Hamas leader. What an oxymoron !
What will Gaza Hamas government terrorist sympathizers protest - that Israel's existence is colonialism against Hamas? Let's transplant Palestinian Hamas Gaza Government views into Mississauga Ontario and the Canadian Government NDP Party, and deny that Hamas views are attempting colonialist influence against Indigenous Peoples in Canada.

What? An influential Hamas leader behind the barbaric murder of 1400 civilians died after a week in custody? What a shame. What sort of people endorse this level of brutal massacre of communities? Prisons will be bursting at the seams when this generation of homegrown ISIS murderers from Gaza is removed from society. We do want to incarcerate men who slit open the abdomen of an eight month pregnant women to murder her unborn child. Hamas lacks human nature. Gaza youth have been educated as murderous barbarians, and they cannot have a future in civilized societies.

Arab Leaders around the world have said that they don't want the people of Gaza living in their society. They have told the people of Gaza that they should stay put to claim their land. No one is forcing Gaza Hamas off their land, but ... since the massacre of civilians in Israel ... Israel will remove Hamas from Gaza. The people can stay, the government has to be replaced.

Regarding the dead Hamas terrorist Gaza Government leader ... how old was he? Sounds like he was sick. Are his supporters unaware of his age and health condition, or are they brain-washed to blame someone when something they don't like happens?

I keep hearing the first words of that journalist upthread, who saw the horrific videos.
"Hamas is ISIS on steroids."

We all know the sheer brutality of ISIS. Hamas is worse, it's beyond monstrous.

I don’t understand how you witness 1400 people massacred and then worry about the hardness of future generations. What a world.
The concern is for hardened Hamas terrorists who are third generation Gaza. First generation seems like ISIS. Second generation seems eager to please ISIS ideology and murder people in Israel, re-writing education curriculum to suit their murder-based religious goals.

This generation are those poor children in Gaza City who failed to evacuate prior to Israeli shelling. They are the sad photos shown to media as 10 people hop out of ambulances, one after the other, unconvincingly illustrating dying of hunger and thirst.

It is no surprise that no one in the Middle East wants people like the Gaza Terrorists or their children living in their countries. Hopefully Scotland has reconsidered their offer to house baby killers.

The notion of open borders that potentially allow for terrorists ... it seems like Middle East Arab Leaders know better.

Among the “military advisers” being dispatched to Israel is Marine Corps Lt. Gen. James Glynn, who previously helped lead special operations forces against the Islamic State and served in Fallujah, Iraq, during some of the most heated urban combat there, according to a US official who is not authorized to discuss Glynn’s role and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Glynn will also be advising on how to mitigate civilian casualties in urban warfare, the official says.

They also did this in Ukraine.

Google Maps and Waze temporarily disable live traffic data in Israel

Google is temporarily disabling live traffic conditions on its mapping service apps, Google Maps and Waze, in Israel, the tech company confirmed Monday, as the country prepares for a potential ground invasion into Gaza.

"As we have done previously in conflict situations and in response to the evolving situation in the region, we have temporarily disabled the ability to see live traffic conditions and busyness (sic) information out of consideration for the safety of local communities," a Google Maps spokesperson said.

Google did not say whether the tools would be disabled in Israel, Gaza or both. It also did not say whether the action was at the request of the Israel Defense Forces.

My God, Mosab Hassan Yousef, son of a Hamas founder, has been a spy for Israel for 10 years. Undisclosed location. He said he's an American citizen now, maybe he's in the US.
This man must have one heck of a target on his head.....10 years.

Ichilov nurse says released Israeli hostages appear to be in good health

A nurse at Tel Aviv’s Ichilov Hospital says in a video statement that Nurit Cooper and Yocheved Lifshitz appear to be in good health after arriving at the Israeli medical center directly after their release from Hamas captivity in Gaza.

The two elderly women were both speaking and had an emotional reunion with their families, the nurse says.

The pair are resting before doctors perform more exhaustive tests to determine their exact medical condition.

Both of them were on medication that they likely were unable to receive during their over two weeks in captivity.

The nurse says the hospital will have a better understanding of their conditions in the morning.

Israel-Hamas war live: Hamas releases two more hostages, Red Cross says; Biden administration says ‘not the time’ for Gaza ceasefire (theguardian.com)

Israel will not delay a possible ground invasion of Gaza over concerns for the more than 200 hostages being held there by Hamas, the country’s energy minister has told German tabloid Bild.

Israel Katz
, who had previously insisted that not an “electrical switch will be turned on, no water hydrant will be opened and no fuel truck will enter” Gaza, until the hostages were freed, told the paper:

We are doing everything we can and working with every interlocuter we can to bring those kidnapped home… But that cannot prevent our other actions, including the ground invasion, if we decide to do it, because that’s what Hamas wants.

Speaking with Ynet, Lifshitz recalled the moment of her abduction during the invasion of her kibbutz. "They completely schooled us. They placed me sideways on a motorcycle so I wouldn't fall, with one terrorist holding me from the front and another from behind. They crossed the border fence into the Gaza Strip, initially holding me in the nearby town of Abasan al-Kabira. After that, I don't know where I was taken to."

85-year-old Lifshitz was held separately from her husband Oded, 83, who was also abducted. After her release, her family said, "We are happy and relieved, but we are still concerned for her husband. We want to see them both home soon and demand that the government do everything to ensure their immediate release.”

As part of its psychological warfare, Hamas released a video in which members of the organization are seen offering coffee and sweets to the recently released abductees, seemingly in an effort to improve their public image following the brutal attack on Israeli border communities.
