JLM: Other Possible Victims - #2

Thank you, Bessie. Since this abduction seems to be part of a recent flurry of crimes by DB since JM's arrest on September 24, 2014 IIRC, the thought occurred to me that perhaps DB was acting out to be noticed, possibly recognized for old crimes. LE and we have wondered if a whole slew of victims could be attributed to JM but what if some were attacked by DB and he feels ignored? MOO!

October 1, 2014 - kidnapped 16yo from Richmond VA and took her to his home in Charles City County, VA, she escaped October 3, 2014.

November 2, 2014 - kidnapped CFG from Philadelphia area and was arrested with her alive in MD.

Good theory, but it seems that a whole slue of serial killers and rapists are now coming to light. Maybe LE just have more science and surveillance footage to catch these crazies?

"Just over one month ago Nelson County prosecutor Anthony Martin said he'd re-test DNA recovered in the 2013 murder of 17-year-old Alexis Murphy to compare it with DNA belonging to Jesse Matthew.

An aide to Martin says the office is still waiting for results of tests being conducted at the FBI's Quantico lab.

An FBI spokesperson confirms the testing has not been completed."

I'm sorry I'm just now replying to this, but for what it's worth, my panic attack would come on shortly after smoking. Certain people would trigger them as well when I was high on marijuana. And just to let you all know DRIVING was NOT something I could do while high it was always sure to cause a panic attack as I felt like I wasn't in control. I just wanted to jump out of the car and take off running. I know some people are going to think even the thought of such a thing happening is absurd, but indeed it is not, the feeling happened to me. BUT I never did jump out of my car and take off running. On other occasions when I WASN'T driving and I was on foot I have been known to run around and try to shake off the feeling of being high. I'd like to add though that I doubt I would have EVER ran into briars and brush and froze to death though. Panic attacks only last so long. Even if you are high.

Wow! He lived in VA. Wonder if this will help or hinder JM's fate in court? The plot thickens....

Well, I still think she jumped.

I can't think of a reason why she would leave her car ON the bridge if it wasn't broken down. I also think that there may have been a time where traffic wasn't as heavy, because it was Easter Sunday and people would be in church or having an Easter meal with their families. Which begs the question, why wasn't Jaisle doing the same?

People did report seeing her walking along the bridge, IMHO just no one saw her jump. Not everyone that goes into a river is found, sadly.

One more thing, I couldn't find much media regarding her disappearance. If LE had a reason to believe foul play, I think there would be more news coverage. They searched the river, didn't find her and kind of left it at that.

BBM--I agree, Hambirg. The Willey Bridge is notorious for jumpers over the years. There is also a dam within sight of the bridge (which is over the James River, whomever asked). I *think* sometimes bodies get "caught" in dams, correct?

This might be a stretch, but it's worth mentioning. Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, who was abducted in Germantown, PA on Nov 2 was rescued today, and the perp arrested. His name is Delvin Barnes, 37, and he is a suspect in another abduction and rape on Nov 1 in Charles City near Richmond, VA.

Barnes is currently being held on a warrant based out of Charles City County, Virginia sheriff's office for attempted capital murder, assault, malicious injury with acid, explosive, or fire.

Hanko says he will then be charged federally with crimes in Philadelphia.

Hanko says with the help of the media and tips, they were able to identify Barnes as the suspect in the November 2nd abduction of 22-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither.

Officials tracked his car to Maryland.

An interesting fact here is that bodies going into the James River near Richmond's West End have more than a time or two ended up surfacing in Charles City! DB crossed my mind re: Jaisle, too. In 1998, DB would have been about 22 years old.

Delvin Barnes hit the 16-year-old girl in the head with a shovel, put her in his trunk and drove her to his Charles City County home, Charles City County investigators said. Barnes made the teenager take off her clothes, which he then burned. He also showed her pictures of other girls he said he had abducted.

Makes me think of MH's missing camera! Not that they are related but so creepy.

He doused her with gasoline and poured bleach on her...thank God she escaped. Makes you wonder how many other girls he has killed in VA and beyond?
