I heard last night from one of the talking heads that it's been suggested that she flooded the floors with water to make it easier for her to drag him into shower... That would also explain some of the clean up.

I believe the photo with his head/her foot (dragging photo) is right after she slit his throat his head is in that position and she is hovering right over him in position

God rest him!

I do not believe she needed water to slide poor Travis across the floor. It was tile and already slick with blood. Once she discovered she had been cut and was bleeding thru her glove, I think the water was her way of making sure the blood was diluted so her DNA wouldn't be detected. jmo

Like you, I think that photo depicts her having just slit his throat as his arm is falling to his side. I think the next photo was taken as she turns him around to drag him back to the bathroom. jmo

Just a comment.

Looking at the gun issue from a logical standing.

Travis was a guy that was very well organized, his dress shoes lined up, not 1 pair, 15 pairs, and not cheap either.
Suits lined up nicely, spaced accordingly. Ties nicely draped, jeans, hung up, space out.

He lived in a comfortable home, had some nice furniture, traveled a lot, drove around in a BMW, went quad wheeling.

Now, with this type of persona, why the hell would he own a dinky 50 dollar gun, and with his OCD for neatness, why would he possibly leave a gun laying out?

IF he were into guns, it would be a nice model, and he would have had ammunition in his house. The guy had 20 pairs of shoes, but no ammunition for a gun?

He would, IMO, IF he had a gun, it wouldn't be tucked up in the corner of a closet, it would have been in a case, or in a drawer next to his bed.
Could it had been his grandfathers or family member past down and he just put it there for safe keeping and forgot about it? She accidentally found it by snooping?

Although I think she brought it with her just playing devils advocate...

I just want to ask if anyone knows if this paypal account for the family has been verified.

I would love to donate some money to help them attend the trial, but whenever there is any tragedy that gets a lot of media attention, it seems there are always some scammers out there who find a way to get donations.

I just want to make sure this is legit before I would send any money.

IMHO legit.

Two ways you'll consider to know it's legit. WS'ers and media investigated, and also it's against TOS for us to post anything soliciting donations, but mods are allowing this to be posted and have in the past.

HTH

:moo:

I'm not understanding this theory...wouldn't the water have then left flood marks into the bedroom? Wouldn't it have "cleaned" the floor molding that had blood drops? I'm going to need to review those pics again...:waitasec:

i understand exactly what you are saying, not sure i agree... just wanted to share what shanna said and dateline showed. my personal opinion, its not that hard to drag a man of ta size.

It also looks as if the towel could have been soaked in blood. Bleach will sometimes cause blood stains to turn rust colored. She apparently did not use enough bleach to get all the blood out of the towel. jmo

very true LOL i will have to soak a towel in blood and do a recreation!

I have been hesitant too, but many people on Facebook said they received personal messages from Tanisha and/or Samantha after donating. I believe it is legit.

Text message sociopath

WOW, he really seems to have a lot of clarity about her personality in this text.

Its really too bad he couldn't act on that.... but I know its much harder to act with reason when you're caught up in a relationship with someone.

I can relate to that - I have read through my old diaries from when I was in my 20's and even though I had so much accurate insight into certain problems, which I documented in my diaries, I was not able to take any meaningful action on that most of the time.

tanisha has been so kind to send me two messages. i didnt donate money, im in between jobs. but i took the time to send her a nice message w a prayer and she actually wrote me back the same day after court. awesome amazing people.

Gotcha, thanks for posting that pic... I think between him being wet, the blood and possibly using a towel she could've moved him. Pre-baby I was into CrossFit and although I was only 5'1" and about 128lbs, I could deadlift 240# as my 1 rep max...180#? Multiple easy...so, definitely not out of the question.

im not certain but i didnt remember them reading the entire message. needless to say, when you do its bone chilling. bless his heart, he knew. just couldnt quit sleeping with her. i saw a pic of travis dancing w lisa on fb, and i can honestly say in the bajillion pics we have seen of them, he never looked at jodi like that. this text is the truth. would also be awesome to use it in closing! :please:

One thing still nags at me: Since it seems to be pretty conclusive that JA used the knife from the onset to slaughter Travis, why did she bother with a gun? The only reason I can think of, is that she used the gun to force him into that vulnerable sitting position in the shower, and / or she actually held the gun in one hand while inflicting the initial stab wounds. :furious:
I know there has been speculation on her wanting to make it appear that there were two intruders. But why not shoot him first to make it more believable, if that were the case? Which to me would point even more to premeditation, but then having two weapons already does that anyway, right?. :waitasec:
And not using the gun first proves another point as well as far as I am concerned, which is that she wanted to make Travis suffer more by killing him in the violent way she did. And imo, anyone who can murder someone in such a violent, personal and bloody manner would have to be in a complete and total murderous rage. Or totally insane and she is not that.

Thoughts anyone?

BBM: ITA with this. I posted last night that in her "disordered" thinking she felt he had stabbed her in the heart (metaphorically) by rejecting her, and so she was going to stab him in the heart (literally) to make him pay for that. That's why I firmly believe the stab to the heart was first. When he didn't just conveniently "die" like she expected she flew into a rage.

She had displayed the same stalkerish, obsessive behavior with several previous boyfriends, but her obsession with Travis was so great that she was not about to let it go. The gun might have been, exactly as you say, to make him submissive.

And I don't believe for a second that she intended to off herself too. She already had another date lined up with Ryan Burns. It was on to the next poor sap in her quest to find someone who would give her the lifestyle she craved, and probably felt she deserved. She is a complete narcissist, and so her needs are the only needs that matter in her warped way of thinking.

Travis Alexander never had a chance from the first minute they met.

After looking at the photo bucket with the gory photos, it has the box inside the linen closet with the wicked up ~2 inches of bloody water. That, taken with photos the two LARGE pools of coagulated blood about a foot or so from each other in front of the linen closet vs. the drips all the way down the hallway (egads, and the clear area w/o blood cuase that is where she dragged him....) ...I am thinking that after his through was slashed, she pulled him back to that area for a while, while he was still bleeding out some. For some reason, she poured lots of water on THAT area, but after the coagulation started in the pools as the pools didn't "smear out/dilute" IYKWIM.

Can't believe I'm typing this......

My feeling is that while stabbing Travis, her hand slid down the blood soaked slippery knife onto the blade, and since she originally had her fingers wrapped tightly around the handle, she got cut in the bend of the fingers causing her to bleed on the floor. She later used the cup to wash away "her" blood off the floor, and that is also why she was dragging Travis back to the shower, to wash off "her" blood. I don't see any other reason why she would take the time to move the body and not just get the hell out of there.

You can bet your last dollar that had it been Travis' gun, she would have fessed up to police where she threw it in order to bolster her self-defense claim. Oh yeah, she conveniently forgot ...

IMHO, she didn't have a glove on the hand with her bloody palm PRINT. It wasn't in a glove at that time :moo: as the PRINT would not be there with a cut glove :moo: . as the saying goes, the solution to pollution is dilution.....but not these days with DNA. You can't dilute it enough, you have to REMOVE it :moo:

pfffft, Jodi would never snoop! :floorlaugh:
