You are wrong on several counts. First of all, it is impossible for the picture of him in the shower to be taken after she shot him. Why? Because that picture was taken BEFORE the headshot and the headshot clearly shows no bullet wound.

Second of all, very clear testimony from the medical examiner explains why he was shot last.

Third of all, based on the fact that he was shot last and would have been incapacitated by them, it is not necessary to speculate on a particular angle of entry because she could have placed him in any position she wanted to before shooting him.

conspiracy theory? who is conspiring to what end? JA killed TA. I do not necessarily believe the ME's take. Others seem to feel the same. Not sure how that equals a conspiracy?

I'm afraid you might be right... but I really really hope you (and I ) are wrong.

Seems to me she's better off dealing with this through the shorter remainder of the afternoon than starting with it Monday morning... the *whole* day ahead of her with this as a starting point.

She loses either way, but if I were her (thank Dog I'm not!) I might want it broken up into shorter segments... But I'm sure her attorneys would gladly love having the afternoon/long weekend off to rework her testimony after having a glimpse of what JM is doing, where he's going and how so they can re-practice a new mock testimony based on that.

It worries me that the judge let her off 10 minutes before lunch. Juan deserves every single minutes of his time. Lord knows Nurmi got as much as he wanted. This little show of sympathy makes me think she might let her go early or dismiss them for the day every time she goes into full blown "cry" mode. Makes me sick.

This is the WHOLE POINT of the trial - this is the crux, these very last moments of Travis' life and Juan deserved those 10 minutes he just lost.

The longer the jury sees her crying the greater the chance they could feel some sympathy for her.

In her crying performance today, did anyone else notice that JA is positioning her pointer finger almost exactly like the "broken" ring finger...can you be double jointed and make your fingers look crooked like this?

My sister is double jointed, and yes, her fingers look like that. I noticed after Martinez had initially started bringing up her finger in cross, that she kept popping her knuckle out. However, if you look closely, she kept popping out her MIDDLE finger, and not the ring finger! LOL

I understand. But, don't forget, she didn't leave the crime scene alone. She stayed there for a while and messed with it. She could have stayed in his house for as long as 3 hours. So if she is throwing water on the bathroom floor, leaving the room, and coming back, movig his body into the shower, washing it down, wiping things down, etc--that bullet casing could have been manipulated to end up where it did.

Don't forget, just because we cannot see blood on it with the naked eye in the crime scene photo, does not mean there is no blood on it.

The casing was analized at the lab and there was no blood on it except on the underneath were it had landed in the already spilled blood that had congealed. They said the casing had no blood whatsoever on the top of it.

There didnt look to be any water around that area and the lab techs could tell that too.

Imo the shot to the head came last. I agree with Horn and Travis was most likely dead or seconds away from death when she shot him in the head.

I do believe there was a struggle and he may have shoved her down or knocked her to the side after she shot him in the face. Of COURSE that would HAVE to be a detail that she would have to add into her tale. Poor Jodi. I also believe that he said he was going to "f'ing kill her". After he was injured. I would, too. :moo:

Respectfully disagree.. I wish you were right. I wish he could have hurt her or at least tried to hurt her. I do not think he could have lunged at her with a bullet in his head, nor a stab wound to his chest. Oh how I wish he could have defended himself!

That photo is very chilling to me. The only explanation for him to be in that position in that shower stall is he is wounded or cowering from a gun or knife. I don't know why it's the one that really gets to me, it just does.

I can't work it out either yet.

Considering how bloody the bathroom was, you'd think that it being kicked around would cause it to come into contact with more than just one pool of blood -- creating a bloody bullet shell. Instead it's very clean, except for sitting on dried blood. That's consistent with the gunshot coming last in the sequence of events.

No, the headshot was taken after the sitting-at-the-bottom-of-the-shower picture. It was the last photo taken before his murder. The following pictures were the accidental ones.

I don't think that's right but I'd have to look at the times on the pictures. Do you have that info?

The headshot is the last picture of his head. I'll agree with that.

I think the one where his legs are crossed and no head shown is the last picture before the camera is dropped.
