The reporter from AZ Republic
I believe the jury isn't supposed to know she's in jail because it implies that she committed a crime. She hasn't been convicted of any crime, so it is not fair to the defendant to have that implication in the jury's mind.
With that said, given the many barely cryptic remarks about her living in jail, there is NO WAY they don't know she's in jail. For instance, her stating "The closet is bigger than my cell."
There probably aren't many human beings on this earth that don't understand cell=jail.
Also, my concern is that this is giving her time to concoct her story and to allow for Fat Boy Nurmi and his sidekick cheerleader to coach her into the stance she should take. The judge needs to FORCE her to do what Martinez tells her to do instead of DISRESPECTING him and just sitting there defiant. That should NOT be allowed at all this is HIS courtroom NOT HERS!!!
maybe she should reenact her high jump to the top shelf for the WNBA...
I don;t see how this would be possible. He wouldn't have been able to lunge after being shot in the head. Move, maybe, but lunge?
She could have shot him first as he was sitting in the shower. Why does it have to be she stabbed him first?
The bullet entered above his right brow and lodged in his left upper cheek.
Couldn't have had his head down in this position for the shot, so she had to have stabbed him first - while he was in the shower.
