The whole reason Jodi is even engaged in her defense is because the evidence nailed her before the trial ever happened. Otherwise, she'd be out gold digging with 5 men and a 9 mm or whatever.

Did you read the scientific document examination report on page 22 and 23? Nurmi eventually ended up withdrawing their request to have them submitted into evidence. Sorry if I said court order, instead of court filing, but the legal filings and the report from the document analysis investigator leave no doubt that Jodi wrote those letters.

Why is Jodi still allowed to go on calling Travis a pedophile, when there is evidence that she wrote all 10 letters purported to be from TA to bolster her claim that he was a pedophile? What part of her attempt to manufacture evidence against TA, the victim, to make it appear he was a pedophile do you not understand? She was framing him for her own benefit. Why? Her whole pedophile story is made up to make TA look like he was a bad guy when in truth he wasn't. The only bad person in this is Jodi Arias.

Also I have never believed her story about the Spider-man underwear either. In the sex tape she starts talking about how she though that the Spider-man movie was a love story. Travis stated that he did not like the Super-Hero movies and Spider-man was the first on his list of the ones he DID NOT LIKE!

I have completely avoided the whole pedophile discussion because I think it's a lame piece of carp that the defence is "throwing in" along with everything else...But, let's play "devil's advocate" for a minute here and just say "ok, maybe he was a pedophile" (sorry TA)...What on earth does it have to do with her claim of killing him in self-defence? NOTHING. She doesn't even have the brains to bring it into her story...It's just "thrown in there" gratuitously to "sully" jury perception of what kind of guy he was. NOTHING ELSE. So relative to her culpability here (apart from her extremely flimsy house of cards about being battered) it does nothing to prove/disprove that she acted in self-defence.

I just looked at the crime scene photos on huffington post today, and the first one is a picture of JA's driver's license and her height is listed at 5'6.

In AL, your height is not measured, you tell them your height. 5'4 or 5'6 is not much of a difference. My weight on my DL has been the same for 30 years.

Yes he did. In fact he thinks Travis could have already been dead or seconds away from dying when shot in the head last.

Its Jodi's lie that she shot him first and then went into a fog. That way she doesnt have to say she slaughtered him with the knife first.

One possible explanation... I've read that Jodi's mother is German and English, so maybe she has that "stiff upper lip" sensibility about her.

But another possibility... Jodi's mother has probably been cleaning up situations after, apologizing for, crying because of, and shelling out money due to Jodi's anger and integrity problems for a LONG time.

I imagine her mom is emotionally spent now, given Jodi's babysitter saw this kind of deadly aggression in her at age 5 or so.

All mom may have left for Jodi is an "I told you so." I mean, at some point, how many tears could be left?

I would have hoped for tears for Travis Victor Alexander and his family and friends. jmo

I don't think Travis was schizophrenic.

No, I don't think Travis had any kind of mental illness at all. I think he was pretty much straight arrow Mormon who was discouraged about not finding his soulmate and fell into the hands of a succubus. I think he was trying to get away from her and straighten out his life.

You may have been confused about my sons. I have nine children. The first four were boys, then five girls. One of my sons (now deceased) was a violent psychopath, a beautiful handsome young man with a terrible anger that started at birth. Shortly after he died (drugs/alcohol/failure to call 911), the next son suffered a psychotic break followed by multiple hospitalizations, 13 suicide attempts and a long slow road to mostly independent living. He is fully disabled with schizophrenia/bipolar and I fix lunch for him every day and help him manage his life. He will never have a career, wife or children.

The only thing similar to Travis Alexander and my son was their age and the compassion I feel for his grandmother and his siblings. This morning I cried thinking about them preparing for what they would hear at trial today. Their lives are changed forever because of this tragedy and even justice cannot lift the weight.

The world is a darker place with Jody Arias in it. LWOP is too good for her because I saw how much my son loved prison and the attention he got in there. He was a big shot there and a loser on the outside. He wanted to go back!!! The thought of Arias being a celebrity in prison makes me sick. I want to think of her rarely in the future and when I do, I want to picture her on Death Row getting out for one hour a day to exercise in a cement square with a handkerchief of blue sky to look at far overhead. Day after day after day.

It is correct that JM 's request to get JA to act out "the tackle in the bathroom" will turn out to impeach her story.
JA is quite familiar with the forensic evidence so she had to get TA;s head turned so that the bullet would enter above the right eyebrow. Note the flying tackle with TA head arched up and turned to his left - something that would NEVER HAVE HAPPENED IN REALITY. As was pointed out above, her demonstration of TA position prior to the gun shot contradicts the forensic evidence. The bullet entered TA skull from above and to his left side.

I would hope this contradiction of forensic evidence arising out of JA "in court demonstration" will be revisited in rebuttal or in closing.

and didn't the ME say that the bullet was shot from at least 2 (maybe 3) feet away, no residue (stippling?) ... the way j.a. described it, he was practically putting his head to/on the gun..

He can and I'm sure will, put the medical examiner back on the stand during his rebuttal case to point out how the defendant's latest version does not fit the evidence from the crime scene and Travis' injuries.
