I never heard the words . . . "The state rests" so I am not sure . . . . Juan is quite masterful with blurring semantics . . . ..

Where is JA going with trajectory if TA lunged @ her like a linebacker does that line up with temple to left cheek? . . . his head would have been turned away from her? help if this one has been debated and figured out.

She mentioned him crunching like a linebacker in her testimony under direct.
When she said that, I thought, she's trying to say things that fit to what she's been hearing in court.
So today I was thinking that she was probably going to say he also turned his head so it would line up with the direction of the bullet.
Well, when she said she could demonstrate the linebacker thing better if she could do it, I Thought, "NO" she's got a plan, and she’s going to show that he turned his head.
So, then JM had her do it and as you know she said and showed he also turned his head.
At the time I was thinking this was a big mistake by JM to have her demonstrate it because some of the jurors may believe it's possible. But now I'm thinking I may be wrong because whether he turns his head or not the bullet is going to go straight into his right upper brow and go straight deeper into his head. He may turn his head but the bullet still goes straight.
In order for the bullet to finally lodge in the back of his left jaw I believe he would have to be coming from the side of her, wouldn’t he? And wouldn't he also have stopped if faced with a gun that he knows is loaded? I think JM should of touched on that!

Like I said before she's conforming her testimony to the evidence presented each day in court. Hopefully her own words will bring Justice to Travis!

I agree. In her mind that is something only the two of them "shared".

Gross. I feel gross saying that.

I don't think Travis was schizophrenic.

TA was obviously many things. A schizophrenic he was not. TA was conflicted for good reason. He was also profoundly hypocritical and intellectually dishonest. His “talk” to JA in the recorded sex phone call showed NO hesitation NO conflict NO compunction about the prospects of pornographic sex. He engaged in pornographic quality sex based on subterfuge but also with a willing partner who was devoid of any conscience. We assume that he maintained an aura of Mormon Elder respectability while offering photos of his erect instrument and asked Arias for similar photos. It is also likely that he duped/ lied to his other girlfriends about his “worthiness” . If TA did not pretend to be a “good Mormon” his conduct would be deemed completely normal for an unmarried 30 year old male.

I remember when that happened in San Diego. It was sad. But that couldn't be her old Bobby vampire slayer, could it? I know Jodi did mention wanting to come down to SD on her trip, but didn't make it. Yes, creepy Jodi.

I think it is him.

I too agree that the Cancun trip WAS in fact the catalyst. If you remember, Arias was SO arrogant and brash that she actually had the NERVE to be at Travis;s house "Cleaning" when he was out on a date with Mimi Hall. She then used the excuse of "Falling Asleep" to remain at his house when he came home from the date. While she acted like it was OK, her remaining there when he got home speaks volumes. She "Fell Asleep" so she could prove she could hang around even after he was dating other women. Then she leaves town, Travis is talking about Cancun, NEVER ONCE asking her to go, NEVER telling her who he was taking, because in trial she even is STILL speculating who he was taking, remember the "Babysitter", then she goes into wondering about Mimi Hall at the funeral memorial. That trip was more than she could bare, him NOT asking her to go, him going with another woman. She couldn't handle it, that trip is what pushed her to kill him, if she couldn't have him NO ONE else could either.

that and didn't travis send her a really mean email he told his friend what he had said and his friend asked travis "aren't you afraid she's going to try to hurt you" i wish we could see that email. i remember jodi on the stand talking about travis telling her she looked like a *advertiser censored* "you really do" referencing her bleached blonde hair. i got the impression this was one of the reasons she dyed her hair dark. i think she had a rage for travis about a lot of things however i don't believe there was physical abuse and the mental abuse i think was brought on by trying to breakup with her.

My hairs stood on end when she said on the stand that she never killed anyone before.... I saw a sparkle in her eye like she had,.. Just a feeling I got.

I sometimes got the feeling, sadly, that she is still trying to exert some type of control over his family now. Like, "I know I did it, YOU know I did it, but I'm not going to tell you why or how." She truly makes me sick.

Either that or she is hoping to sell her story (interviews, book, etc.) later on down the road when "THE FOG" lifts. Does anyone know if AZ prohibits convicted murderers from profiting from their crime?

I also find the whole he was cleaning downstairs .... Doing the floors.... That was after sex and before shower pics?

Odd .... Very odd indeed

yeah. He hasn't seen the love of his life/sex toy in two months and he spends the day cleaning? I don't think so.

More like--she was the one cleaning up any evidence of her ever being there. She didn't just have to clean up the bedroom, after all. Her DNA, fingerprints, hair was all over the house.

IMO

Absolutely. Everything she's said and done since the day she murdered him has been her sick control and torture of their family. From sending his grandmother flowers, attending his memorial, accusing him of pedophelia, dragging out the legal proceedings, staring down his family in court, to threatening that if her plea deal wasn't accepted she would drag Travis' name and the family through the mud ... it goes on and on and on.

There is NO doubt whatsoever she wants to make this family and his circle of friends, ex-girlfriends, associates, anyone who ever liked or loved him suffer as much as humanly possible. She has a nasty soul, she's a vicious, violent, heartless, frightening person.

LoL, i will be marking this for future reference. You obviously haven't watched the whole trial. Most, if not all, of your points were covered by JM on cross.

I have watched this whole trial. Some parts several times. Most of it was covered but I would have liked for him to slowly spell it out. I'm not comfortable with the jury being forced to make the links themselves.

In a nutshell, premeditation is simply a decision to kill. I think it has been demonstrated that Jodi decided to kill Travis.

Also very well demonstrated, in my opinion, by the amount of overkill. She could have stopped stabbing him at any time and called 911 to save his life. Instead, she kept on, including slitting his throat which would almost cause instantaneous death.

:furious:

MOO

She was clearly very determined to make sure he was dead.

He will tie it up in the prettiest bow you ever saw on closing! IMHO.
