This biatch is showing nothing consistant with being a DV victim... NOTHING... The DV expert had better testify truthfully.. If not, this will certainly negatively affect the truth of every real DV victim . Yes, validation and witness of abuse by a normal person is important and necessary.. but not to get off death row.. It's for a victim's ability to see the abuse for what it is, begin and continue the process of healing. Sadly, that can take a lifetime.

Because if she did, wouldn't the defense have called them as character witnesses? We haven't seen a single friend on any of the shows either, other than Gus and what's-his-name, and I don't really think they count since they only knew her PPL.

The only other "friends" I have seen are the 2 that were on Dateline. Donovan, who she met in prison, and a childhood friend who thinks Jodi is just lovely and wonderful, but hasn't seen her for a long time. Big eye roll!

1.. if it was ever broken, defense would have an X-Ray

2.. if it was broken in jan. 2008, they'd have co-worker/manager testimony citing said injury and it compromising her ability to handle food service duties (i.e wash hands, serve laden plates, etc..)

3.. if she cut it at work (end of may, beginning of june), defense would have the workplace injury documentation and/or a witness from said workplace

They would have also had Darryl or Matt or the nail salon person who did her nails testify about the injury and bandages she had on her fingers on June 2 and 3

I agree. I think JM did a fine job the first time around. He totally destroyed her, and Nurmi is left with the debris. There is no way he can rehabilitate her.

JM must connect all the dots and loose ends in a closing statement.

I actually fault JM for NOT bringing graphics charts timelines into the court.
Maybe the judge might not allow them????? But JM argument would be so much more coherent and understandable with charts, lists, timelines. He at least had the overhead layout of TA bathroom and bedroom and had JA point to locations. But JM did not MAKE much of her bathroom/bedroom testimony.

For example:
*JA was body slammed and was NOT out of breath
* Before body slam TA came out of shower wet and “Picked her up”
* Her head was pointed south; TA was to her right and JA rolled to her left. ( NOTE- Try to recreate or simulate this)
* TA was standing OVER her as she rolled YET JA could regain composure and breath, arise, and decamp ALL WITHOUT TA catching her. (NOTE – Try to recreate or simulate this)
* The JA sprint to closet; closet door slammed; JA leap for gun; TA opening the door in pursuit; JA obtains gun assume two hand grip on a loaded gun and swings around at the TA _ who by this time must have been delayed by aliens or angels located in the closet.
* the linebacker tackle
* the arched cocked head of the linebacker prior to tackle
* the forensics of TA head wound

I will HOPE that JM will not do the CLOSING ARGUMENT “extemporaneously” and just “wing it”.

He needs to outline in detail WITH A PRINTED LIST all JA lies. He needs to ILLUSTRATE to the jury why her account of bathroom /bedroom struggle is ABSURD. JM needs GRAPHIC support for his closing argument – ala Jose Baez when he did the closing of CA trial.

I just think a big blow up of her ridiculous route to get to Travis's would help.

Anybody ever look at your bandage after a shower? The gauze gets rinsed/wet & blood pattern is NOT visible--MAYBE a lil red or brown around edges...maybe.

Did Jodi ever mention, while on the stand, that she and Travis had talked about getting married (to each other)? I missed the early days of the trial when Lisa Diadone Andrews was testifying and she said that Travis wanted to marry her (he was also "dating" Jodi at the time) and I missed everyone's comments during that time frame. A couple of nights ago I sat up and viewed most of the early testimony and I couldn't help but wonder what was going through Jodi's mind when she heard that but I laughed myself silly. Anyhow, I was wondering why Jodi would make this statement in front of the jury about children when we ALL know Travis was never going to marry her.
