KC's last night with RM - Where did she bring Caylee? *REVISIT*

I just think it is odd that KC didn't know it was inappropriate to have sleep-overs at her boy du jour's place with her toddler. CA had to tell her this? Does KC lack judgment of any kind?

Who said CA knew she was staying at a boyfriends place? The claim is that she would stay with gf's and a friends that had kids. I"ve known folks who have done that a time or two. And their parents did not call them....

I remember going with my parents, while they played cards with friends, and I would play with the kids. When we got tired, we crashed. When it was time to go home, they would wake me up and we would leave. Some times I would ask to stay over, etc. Some times they would come to our house. Same thing.

It is really, really odd that CA is calling KC about Caylee needing to be home, When Caylee is with her Mother. It shows that CA is calling the shots, even when KC is watching Caylee.

reading this theroy of Cindy and her "image mode". I begin to think that her beleif in the imaginary nanny has more to do with her covering up her own complicity in the neglect of Caylee, then it does with actually protecting Casey.

This covers the inconvenient truth that they never knew where Caylee was from one minute to the next and that they were struggling to keep the whole situation under contro;l lthe whole time.

Cindy thought she could manage the tsunami that is Casey. Cindy knew 100% that Caylee was continually in danger with a wreckless, psycopathic mother.

yes...that baby was collateral damage.

Your post shows how clearly KC was leading a double - heck triple - life.

She was in a fresh relationship with TonE and had a new job/responsibility at Fusion -- couldn't let any of them down and trying very hard to keep TonE's attention.

She was still somewhat included and involved with her old group of friends (AH, RM, etc) and lying her way out of spending time with them yet still taking advantage by sleeping over to escape her mother and even sleeping with RM after already being with TonE! (I actually feel really bad for this group...they seemed to love KC and accepted Caylee and she just USED them). The lies she told this group yet continuing to string them along floor me.

Of course, she was also living the life of KC the daughter and mother to Caylee and trying to hold up that facade at home as well....lying and creating emails to secure her escape from the home to be at her "job" at Fusion (can you imagine how stressful that was...praying, hoping CA will ok babysitting so she can be the shot girl and not let TonE down??).....being called home by CA and called out for poor judgement and behavior.

She was juggling 3 sets of people here....3 personas....3 lifestyles.KC is a people pleaser. I think that's evident from her chamelion like character. She was never honest with any of them and it all caught up to her. She lied big major lies and, instead of coming clean, she just kept on lying.

Holding together all of the "lives" and juggling all the people obviously became too much for her. The weeks leading up to poor Caylee's demise is so obvious when you see posts like yours above! She must have been exhausted. (poor sweet Caylee!!!)

Bolded by me above....

I think it is easy for us to seperate the 3 lives.. we read one interview, read 1 set of texts...etc. However, when we actually put it all together it is overwhelming what she was up to the weeks prior to Caylees death. Keep in mind, in the above timeline we see only what was going on simultaneously with only Ric, Amy and then her other world with TonE. The above time line is just a snippet... and does include the others she was texting like TonyR, ChrisS, and the new fling she was starting with WW in July.

Trying to still put it all together as a play by play.. however her life was so erratic that sorting it makes me crazy.

I don't know where to post this so I will do it here. It's been almost a year since Caylee died but one thing still haunts me. Maybe someone can direct me to an answer (if anyone of us knows).

I just re-read RM's interview in September 2008 with the detectives and I cannot get over this. He says that sometimes in April or so KC and Caylee came to spend the night with him. He awoke and Caylee was gone. I cannot get over this. The thing that makes no sense is that at first I thought KC put Caylee away because she needed to get intimate with RM but according to RM he "feel asleep" and then woke up and Caylee was gone. So, I'm reading this to mean that they were not intimate at that point or maybe they were but Caylee was asleep.

Where in the world did KC bring her and why? If they were not having sex then why did she need to get rid of Caylee on that night? Is RM mistaken or did this happen? It doesn't add up.

I am glad that you posted this, it has been bugging the heck out of me too. I believe that KC told RM that CA called and told her to bring Caylee home, but CA said that it never happened. I have often wondered if maybe KC put her in the trunk thinking that she and RM would get intimate.

This whole thing just doesn't add up. Single mom with little child go to sleep at boyfriend's house. SM wakes up and takes little child "home" to grandparents, where she also resides. Instead of just climbing into her own little bed, SM gets back into her car and drives back across town (however close or far that may be) and climbs back into bed with boyfriend. When BF next wakes up, little child is gone and SM says her mother called and wanted the baby home...

Once you're woken up enough to drive hither and thither, wouldn't you think she'd just stay home?

There's so much that just doesn't make sense...

(respectfully bolded by me)
A person with a job would likely just stay home but Casey's life was her boyfriend it seems.
This scenario has always bothered me. If her Mother was bothering her by calling, KC could have just turned off her phone. Maybe Caylee was sick and crying to go home.

My guess is that Cindy was calling and calling her demanding that Caylee be brought home. Perhaps they had a day trip planned or a doctor's visit and Cindy wanted to make sure that Caylee was home.

Correct, we must keep in mind that Casey all tho' we know she was at Ric's she would tell Cindy that she was with Zani or another GF's house.
Towards the end, I think Cindy just wanted Caylee home and could have cared less if Casey was there.

You would think so wouldn't you. But 'home' had something that KC didn't like...Cindy. And boyfriend's house had something that KC likedd very much...Ric and sex. So for KC the drive back to bf's would be totally not a waste. LOL!

Another guess: Cindy didn't call or demand, but Casey thought it would be a great way to sleep in/ do what she wants in the morning/ if Caylee were home. Perhaps there was no cereal at RC's?

Another guess: She went to another guy's/gal's house with Caylee for sex/drugs/rock n roll. She left Caylee there and went back to RC's. To excuse her absence, she blamed it on Cindy?

It's a longshot I am sure, but maybe taking Caylee home was an alibi. She gets a call/text in the night from some other person she is "seeing"...takes Caylee home. That way if RM wakes up she has a reason to be gone and come back....

My thought is that KC found the bed rather crowded with all 3 of them in it, so she did what I have seen other people do, (not done out of meanness, just as what they thought was a practical soloution) moved the sleeping baby over into the closet and made them a palette with a blanket in there. If the baby woke up, Mom was close enough at hand to hear her and go to her right away.

Not the right thing to do, too frightening for a child to wake up and find herself in a strange place all alone, but it is done by people who are normally good parents. So could well have been done also by KC

This episode has always bothered me too. I wonder if KC was experimenting with chloroform or some other sleep inducing drug on this night. With the xanex, she would just crush it and add it to something Caylee drank. With chloroform maybe she waited until Caylee and RM were asleep and then held a rag soaked with it above their nose? I've thought maybe she used say chloroform on RM and Caylee that night, testing it out, to see if it would keep RM out, to see what he would sleep through. And Caylee.... maybe she used C or X on Caylee and tried out the trunk as a babysitter for the first time this night. Since RM said KC says she took Caylee home in the middle of the night, maybe she was trying the trunk and whatever drug out for just a few hours the first night she tested it? I have just always had the feeling that whatever went on that night--that it was crafted by KC with depraved intentions. (I've always felt that AH waking up with different pants on from when she went to sleep was KC dosing AH with chloroform as she slept.)

But then again, it could've been CA calling and demanding KC bring Caylee home. I can see CA lying about this, she lied about other things to LE. It is also possible that CA just didn't remember calling KC that night at the moment she was asked about it. I have to admit, I have said something that I believed at that moment to be true only to later remember something I had forgotten. So, I guess it's possible that it was a harmless incident, but I just know I got a bad feeling the first time I read that RM told LE this story. JMHO

Except Casey DID need to be home by 7 a.m. to take care of Caylee when Cindy went to work.

I believe Cindy lied about it NEVER calling Casey to tell Casey to come home. Her phone records show she did. Casey's friends say she did.

I don't believe Casey ever drugged Caylee and left her in the car trunk.

Amy says Casey BROUGHT Caylee to adult parties. Ricardo says Caylee slept in the bed with them. Lots of times Cindy DID watch Caylee, like the "no clothes" party.

Until Casey met Tony, she seems to have left Caylee with Cindy or brought Caylee with her. I think after a week or so of having to leave Tony's bed to be with Caylee while Cindy went to work, Casey was chafing.

Cindy was fried too because Casey was cutting it close and not making it home until 5:45 a.m. or 3:30 a.m.

I don't think Cindy called at all. I think KC just wanted to get rid of Caylee for that morning and brought her to her parent's house and left her there, without the call from Cindy.

French Vixen, I take it from this that you are saying that Caylee disappeared sometime during the night and was not there in the AM?

One of the two is lying. Gee, I wonder who?
If she was putting Caylee in the trunk in the middle of the night, which just makes me sick to think about, wouldn't the child be extremely afraid of the dark at home and wouldnt Cindy have noticed?

Cindy did notice (reference Cindy's FBI interviews). She said that if Caylee woke up during the night and was alone and could not touch someone, Caylee would scream. She further said that this is why Caylee *always* had to sleep with someone else in their bed, rather than in her own bed (either KC or Cindy).

(Sorry if this has already been brought up in the thread. I just started reading from the beginning.)

I think the experimenting with the chlorform might be a good thought. Is this around the time the searches were done on the computer for chloroform? I thought it a bit strange the R does not hear KC get a phone call/get up/get Caylee/walk out the door and walk back in the door? What? one of these things should wake him

if this has already been discussed then sorry for dragging it up again. didn't cindy believe casey was seeing the fictional jeff? why would she know ricardo even existed? (if i'm wrong about this i apologize) and even if she was aware of him then how would cindy know where ricardo lived or his phone number to go there and fetch caylee, or order casey back in the first place? casey wasn't the type to share this kind of info. even if she did know where he lived i doubt casey would say she was taking caylee to spend the night at her boyfriends, she'd have said she was staying w/ zanny so why then go to ricardo's or call casey?
i'm rambling again aren't i.

ETA maybe cindy did somehow discover that casey was spending the night w/ a guy she'd never even heard of and enraged at the thought of caylee spending the night in a strange man's apartment just so casey could get her end away she tracked him down and went over, or phoned casey, to recover her grandbaby. under the same circumstances i think i'd do the same thing.
i can easily imagine her denying this too. it hardly paints casey in the light she'd rather everyone viewed her (especially the cops)

Except Casey DID need to be home by 7 a.m. to take care of Caylee when Cindy went to work.

Was George working at this time? Maybe he could have watched Caylee until he either left for work or Casey returned?
