The article states that the worker & superior were fired. I don't know if that coincides with the removal of the "head honcho" or if there were actually 3 firings, but there are steps being taken.

I don't think I could work for CPS or whatever the different states call it. But someone has to be there to protect the children, especially if the bio parents can't/won't. That article reads like an old Keystone Cops silent film. The sum total of errors is appalling.

*Prelim Hearing (@ 9am CT) – KS – Anthony E. Bunn (2 yrs old) (wouldn’t eat his hot dog) (May 6, 2018) – Elizabeth Woolheater (22) “mom” & Lucas Diel (25) (BF) charged (5/8/18) with 1st degree murder. Originally arrested (5/4/18) & charged (5/7/18) with attempted 1st degree murder & endangering a child. $250K bond each.
5/9/18 DA filed 1st degree murder charges for both.
7/25/18 Update: Had Prelim hearing on 7/25/18; waived prelim hearing, set for arraignment. But date given!
