Are you insinuating that the police officer that was shot and killed was engaged in criminal activity?

no, he might have been shot in the line of duty - as oppossed to being shot cause he is cop

Kansas City has drive by shootings all the time. Sometimes innocent children and others get shot by these drive by shooter. I guess this time an officer got in the way. I think most of the time they happen at night but not necessarily. This is what I hear and see reported in the news all the time. imo and Moo

Yeh, that was what I was saying, they were engaging in gun fire with another car when cops pulled up - so it might have nothing to do with all the other stuff going on moo

kinda think so -- just cause of the scene they pulled up to guns already going

the intial call came like 30 minutes before the cop down call --

That happens in many places but in this case, they shot him because he was LE and they were trying to get away. jmo

Intial reports were that they were going to a scene where people in two cars were shooting at each other, with witnesses reporting about 20 shots - so he might have been in the melee

Shot in the line of duty

certainly an option with what we know thus far

They are not doing another presser tell tomm tho so we many not know till then

there is a difference between shot just for being a police officer and being shot in the line of duty. with the current climate though, any officer shot will be treated as being shot because he was an officer, because of the media.

Well….

He IS a cop. The killer didn't have to shoot and kill the cop.

IMOO.

oh and rest easy to Captain Melton. Thanks for your service.

Being shot by some criminal in the line of duty or on purpose makes no difference to me. They still shot at the officer to kill him! Do you think they were hoping they missed?

Is he any less dead??? SMH.
