You are correct. It does have some qualities. But, do you think that is why EG smoked it? She did say that she suffered from endometriosis. But she also has history of much more serious drug abuse, such as heroin. Personally, I think she was getting high. And I think that because of who she is and her history. Also, in Kansas, do they have medical marijuana licenses? If so, she may have been buying and smoking it legally but I haven't seen anything to indicate this.
Kansas doesn't currently allow medical marijuana, but there are efforts to legalize it. http://www.kansascity.com/news/politics-government/article206857504.html

And no, there is no medical marijuana in Kansas at this time.

Then she flat out and admittedly broke the law. Now the question is, did she endanger her daughter by driving with her? I'm guessing the prosecution will have others that waited on her/saw her at OG take the stand to give their description of how high she seemed, if at all. I could spot a high person pretty quickly.

Yeah, she'll admit to that in hopes of them not testing her to see what else she might test positive for, IMO.

Yes when I read this tweet I thought Okay Emily You brought it up first! So the ball was on her. :shame:

I had a feeling she did - like a lot of us have said over all of these threads, she wanted to show them how truthful and honest she was by admitting to doing something illegal.

I wonder who all is actually in the courtroom today? JO, JH, FLA, , the cousin that shall not be named, any EG supporters?

I hope they're proceeding meticulously and carefully to avoid bringing evidence r/t the Lucas case to the MH case, since the cases have been separated.

Being thorough, setting the stage. Do you think they're going to get into her other drug usage? Maybe not on the day she drove to OG, but to show she is a habitual drug abuser, and in turn to indicate she indeed intended to get high that day, prior to driving with her daughter to OG? Do you think her ex will take the stand to verify her prior drug usage and attitudes about drugs?

Oh, EG was definitely doing it to get high lol I'm not disputing that. I thought you were just asking in general, I'm sorry that I misunderstood.

no worries. I should have made myself more clear.

Ohhh, great information. I have tears of joy. Hope

And to me, to me it is clear, she smoked weed and then drove her 1 year old. So, an average person on the jury should focus on the charge, it is not smoking pot, it is driving her daughter after smoking pot.

Phone text show intent to smoke and drive her daughter, confirmed to LE that she carried out her intent.

My hopes are up.

If they are allowed that would be the smart thing to do. I am not sure that prior history in this case can be brought up, although we haven't heard that it can't. Hopefully it is fair game. jmo

Det. Shoemaker read from Glass' written statement about what happened on Feb. 16th into the 17th. In it she wrote that she smoked cannabis that Friday (16th)

Why would she admit to that? To seem overly honest? So when she says she didn't harm Lucas they believe her?

Hopefully they determine it relates to her state of mind. I wonder, since it was ordered that her license was restricted re her boys, if that had anything to do with drug abuse and driving prior.

When she was getting visitation of her boys, the judge said that her previous drug use had been forgiven. Would that mean it can't be brought up here?
