I don't really want to say this but here goes. If EG had buried Lucas at the house don't you think the neighbors would have noticed a horrible odor in the air and reported it. jmo

UGG! Sorry so sorry!

Yeah. I'm not really thinking he's in the flowerbed, but I have felt the ENTIRE time in this case... when he is found, we're all going to be like, "Wow! Why didn't we think of that?" Or be completely dumbfounded at how obvious it is. I don't know, I could be wrong... but goodness. It gave me chills, honestly.

I’ve felt this SAME way! I’ve bounced all around on this one though. Sickening.

I love it (not really) how she says "that's on them" and "that's on you."
Like when she said that the people who think she did something to Lucas, that's "not her problem. That's on them."

No, honey. This one is on YOU. Where is Lucas?!?

Great catch.......

Hmmmmm....

So, does she think "that's on Lucas?"??

Or buried him at night and then noticed something that needed “fixed” the day the neighbor saw her? Neighbor said EG was already gone before she could go over and introduce herself. Maybe it was just a real quick thing? SURELY LE would have searched this area with cadaver dogs, right?? It’s just really a strange coincidence.
In the plot, it's only a hand buried in the garden.
The rest of the body is inside the abandoned house.

ETA: If there are cameras in her yard no way anything is buried there.

Would a metal detecter pick up his dental work?? I saw a show on ID the other day where they were flying a drone equipped with a metal detector in order to find a murder weapon in a cold case....

I doubt the type of fillings/caps that Lucas has would set off the metal detector. I read on a mental decector forum/page that gold crowns do...

WARNING: SENSITIVE VERBIAGE

I am not sure how long it takes a decomposing body to smell. We know he's been gone for atleast 16 days now. From what I've seen, it hasn't been too terribly hot there, so that could definitely slow the process... but yes, I would imagine 16 days is enough time for things to start smelling off.

I'm thinking at this point, that's it's not likely.
The neighbors cameras could see her front yard, and I am assuming they could see the front flowerbed area. It would take quite a bit of digging to get a hole big enough, even for a shallow grave. Surely LE would have seen that on the neighbors cameras, no?

Yeah, also true. This is just a really crazy coincidence. Carry on :)

I honestly feel that way. Like, it's HIS fault.
I guarantee when he's found, IF she talks, it's gonna be "well, LH did THIS, or LH did THAT" - something to put blame on him as to why she did what she did.

Good god.
This is getting even more freaky. I can't. I really just can't.

My opinion is that anything of value that could have been found on the entire property, home, flower garden, etc etc has been already been recovered/and or cleared, jmo.

( Hmmmm...I'm feeling resentful about a man right now...I'm going to smoke a bowl and see if it intensifies it (as opposed to an opposite effect, which I anticipate...) Will check back in to update this post in a few. [emoji3])

(Checking back in...Sigh. Not even good weed can heal a broken heart...@$$hole...LOL)

(O/T, what was that experiment on WS many years ago where a member actually took some pills strictly for sleuthing purposes? And iirc Tricia commented on the lengths people will go here at WS in the name of a case?)
I love you so much right now.

I'm in the middle of looking over Emily's twitter. This caught tweet about smoking weed caught my eye. Its from a couple years ago but still. She was with JH at this time bc after this tweet she tweeted pictures of the two of them together.

Katy, MsF, Ms.M, ocean, all you wonderful folks who have many years of experience following these types of cases (sorry "cases" sounds so impersonal), I've seen a lot in 5 years here, but I feel as though you ladies have followed more abuse/in house child murders...I have followedmore the random abduction/shootings cases...

Anyway, point is. Question: Sorry if already asked, but what other step mothers and live in girlfriends have murdered their small child, I would love to see a list and compare many things. Including what type of verbal responses they had, (any repeated mention of "that's on them" for example, what their disposal distance and technique was, etc, etc. Of course a similar crime does not necessarily indicate any similar approaches (just as there are variances about serial killers, shooters, etc).

I don't see a "flower bed" in the yard. From a street view.

ETA: I take that back! I wasn't looking at the right house! Her's is on the corner so two side face the street.

I know close to nothing about metal detectors, how each one varies or what all Lucas's teeth are made of but thought your idea was really clever & interesting, so did some good ole Google searching.

What I could find regarding the teeth, I searched rather quickly and just read the highlights:
(Apparently those silver crowns are likely made of stainless steel??!)

And when looking on a metal detector enthusiast website, it seems some can pick up.stainless steel, others cannot. So I think it seems to depend on the equipment but definitely possible.
Just not sure I googled enough about the teeth to be confident of what it may be made up of entirely.

Great idea though!!

I wonder if Tim's drones have metal detection capabilities...gosh I can't wait to sit down and talk with him one day in the near future...what types of drones did he fly in Christina Morris' s case? Much time has lapsed since then; I'm sure advancement in technology as far as drones go has progressed quite a bit since then (just like cell phones, etc.)....need to invite Hatfield in for this discussion, he knows a lot about drones...

Calling Hatfield.

:spaceship:

, FLA, this is a question for the time to ask Tim imo. Can we put metal detectors on a drone to detect his metal dental work. Has this been thought of yet or been implemented? Surely LE/Tim has thought of this already, but you never know... Thank you.

(Eta: If one of you thinks this is a question valid enough to ask, (I reaaalllly do, I'm serious...), then let me know and I will give you my "code name" to give to Tim so he knows who he's talking to lol. I obviously don't want to bother him right now but if you get a chance...)

Eta: There's a local drone shop (note to visit their website for research purposes)

So I don't know if this would worth LE's interest but I think Emily may have had more than one Facebook page. I say this because on Twitter her Facebook is linked to her Twitter account. Whenever she would post something on Facebook it would automatically post to her twitter. The link to that Facebook account that is hooked to her twitter is different than the one that she has right now. THEN I was doing some googling I came across her Linkedin and she has her Facebook listed on there and its totally different from the current Facebook page and the one that is linked to her twitter. I'll show you what I mean. If you look at the URLs at the end of them you'll see they are different:

CURRENT FACBOOK:
https://www.facebook.com/DayByDayEAG (this Facebook is also linked to her twitter I just discovered this as I was looking for the eglass3 link)

Facebook that is on Linkedin:

https://www.facebook.com/dbdeag

<modsnip>

Link to Linkedin:

Also would like to add that she has an Instagram that is now gone too. This was found on her Twitter:

ETA: here is link where eglass3 was: https://twitter.com/emily_glass/status/592918652363616256
