There is question as to the validity of the warrant that was issued. There is question as to whether or not the suspect they were pursuing was already in custody. They rendered no aid and left the apartment. If they were in fear that a drug dealer was shooting at them, they should have continued to attempt to neutralize the the threat but did not. But, here is what they can be charged with:
"Police dispatch logs show that officers neither rendered nor called for medical attention, according to The Courier-Journal.
Rather, they waited for Walker to exit and treated Sargeant Jonathan Mattingly, an officer injured when Walker shot at the intruders, not realizing that the plainclothes officers were police."
Breonna Taylor received no medical attention after she was shot by police
They had first aid and CPR training and should have been able to render aid.
Section Eleven:
Health/Safety/Fitness (80 hours)
Police Officer Professional Standards (POPS)
Assessment
Physical Fitness Training
Stress
Fitness and Nutrition
Blood borne Pathogens
