Between Feb. and March E bay had a ring just like this, someone was selling.....maybe a picture can be submitted to Ebay to find out who won that auction.. and compare the two rings..

How were you able to determine that? Did you run across it back in Feb and March?
I have looked at diamond and turquoise gold rings previously sold on e-bay, and I could not see any from February and the ones
I saw from March did not look like this UID's ring. Perhaps I was looking in the wrong place?
Where did you look on e-bay to find a ring that looks just like this one?

I know I've seen a ring very like it quite recently. I wonder if that was where? It might still be available if you can remember who was selling it. I think February has aged out of eBay but I might be able to find it on the Wayback machine.

I don't think we can make any conclusions about the wearer's ethnicity just from the style of the jewelry. Yeah, it's a middle eastern/India flavor to it, but that style is very popular right now among the general population. Me, for instance :)

Missing since May

The woman found is older...but this is a coincidence..I saw on her facebook , her dad is a soldier at Fort Knox.
is it possible??

Wow, I dunno -- she's too young, but lots of other things fit. Her hair looks to me like it's obviously ironed, so it could be naturally wavy, and she clearly likes jewelry. About the right size and coloring. Her last seen date is May 16, which leaves two weeks to the estimated death of the UID. If she was hanging around for a few days, then decided to hitch a ride to spend the holiday weekend with her father? Looks like that's straight down I-65.

Here's her NCMEC poster.

If it is her, then her family has not come forward about the jewelry found on this UID, as this UID case has been on WHAS news, and I think the Kentucky State police would have a heads up about that? Also, if it is her, then she colored her hair from black to brown with red highlights.

My ADHD is kicking in - so I can't sit and read all the posts (forgive me!).
I looked at the shirt and instantly thought "Rainbow" (the store). It's a night shirt/night gown. If you look at the zipper there's a chiffon type material that's caught (it's white). the pants sound like your a-typical yoga/sleepwear. Between the glitter toe nail polish and the streaks plus the outfit - I'm thinking she's younger than 20 (leaning between 14-19). The nightshirt looks like something you'd find in a jr dept of a store. Streaks I take to mean "chunky highlights" but then again, it depends who established her hair style.

The ring is not fatima or any other eastern religion symbol. I really believe this person to be a victim of domestic violence of the lower income bracket and probably here undocumented. pure speculation of course.

I once upon a time moved to Etown and worked in an adult bookstore. We had a lot of truckers and I remember having to go out of town for booze (this was in the 90's and I moved there to throw raves in Louisville at French Kiss and Connections .. so my memory is hazy). There was a lot of people that traveled through because of I-65. It's hard telling where she's from but if she was a victim of domestic violence and undocumented - we may never know. I can only guess that they assume she's over 18 because of wisdom teeth. Her clothes though .. they make her seem young. I'm wondering if the ring and earring were gifts or heirlooms? I'll also guess that the reason there isn't a 2nd earring is because the trauma was on that side of the face and torn out of the lobe :(

Edited to add:
I looked rather closely at the nightshirt. there's an off white paint on it. I also didn't notice before but where the chiffon like material is - there's a black beaded string - now I'm curious what that white material was attached too! The strings for the hoodie part are white and made for a nightshirt - not a regular shoestring type, so I'm not too sure what the black bead thing goes to. Do you think it's possible she had some sort of lingerie underneath? I hate to say it but it's possible she was raped and beaten. I just cannot make sense of the material caught at the top. I thought it was a zipper at first but it's not. Strange.

Has anyone checked out Jamie Lewis yet? She fits the age and descriptor, but she is listed as 5'3" and 110.

I think her piercings would be found, at least the naval.

Probably, but we know LE hasn't released all the information about what she was found with, etc. It's possible they just haven't said.

I agree with AstroKitty -- I have the impression of a woman younger than 20.

That outfit seems like something a college girl would wear around the dorm, or a high school girl lounging around the house.

It looks to me like a white chiffon rose with a strand of black beads instead of a ribbon. Something like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/68162661/white-chiffon-rose-flower-duo-on-skinny

Like maybe she saved it from a prom dress or something.

Any thoughts about what may have caused the linear scars on her legs? Surgery? A history of cutting?

With it being written as "possible", two on the right leg, and one on the left, are they not sure? I wonder if she could have been bound? Seeing as she was also wrapped up in several items.
Surgery and cutting are great thoughts, too.
In My Opinion Only.

I've been looking at the hoodie nightgown for hours. I'm pretty convinced it's homemade. If you look closely - it's a hoodie with a sweat shirt sewn in the center and then more material at the bottom. There's 3 seams in the center. I wonder if it's something made in home ec? Is there still home economics? (showing my age here)

Has anyone checked out Jamie Lewis yet? She fits the age and descriptor, except she is listed as weighing different. Then again, weight fluctuates...

When her dentals are entered we will be able to rule out or in through her crown.

Yes that's what I was hoping could give us a clue.

Hoping we get those dentals.

Praying for Jamie and as well as the family of this Jane Doe.

.

Or the other earring could have been taken by whoever assaulted her as a memento?... Sorry to sound like I watch CSI (hate that show)

lol it's ok, I watch SVU ;) I only brought up the ear lobe being damaged because of the extensive head trauma. I'm assuming extensive because their "decomposition" levels kept changing. Unless a person is badly burned or water logged - 2-5 days shouldn't eradicate their nationality. But if blunt force trauma happened .. and she was olive complexion or tan.. it would make things confusing (I guess, still doesn't make sense to me).

I noticed the decomp around the hood of the shirt to be more one sided, I'm wondering if that's the side without the earring? I really can't help but wonder how much LE is withholding. A lot doesn't add up here.

@AstroKitty - you mentioned the paint.
I enlarged the picture of the hoodie and the paint seems to be to one side.
I wondered if the paint was a clue of some sort as to her last movements or who she was with or the environment she was in (maybe a van or truck with paint tins)? Or just a shirt she wore for doing chores?
