To add to the confusion- they three men who were questioned were all black. There’s no mention of a white guy. When the pics first came out, I kind of thought maybe the guy with the longer hair was mixed or maybe real light skinned.

KSP keeps things pretty close to the vest. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s another couple wks before they really release anything significant.
Really? I had thought it was the white guy with the truck that was pulled over by an off duty officer claiming he was on his way to the police station early on. Off duty officer then escorted him to the station. Was this not the white guy? Soo confusing!

The white guy was absolutely questioned. He was pulled over the following day (Saturday) on his way to give a voluntary statement and was subsequently escorted to the police station.

The other two that were questioned were, presumably, the black male in the original photo and the second male in the car with Savannah when she called her mom.

The news hasn't been crystal clear so I understand the confusion.

The FaceTime throws me. I have all sons- but no way they would facetime me- UNLESS they wanted me to see who they were with (according to all of mine- whom I asked). They were all in agreement that she wanted her mom to see who she was with (for a reason) I have 2 with androids, who said they would send a video.

Oops yeh 1 white male, 2 black males lol. 3 all together. There hasn’t been anything else about the other female that her mom said was in the car. In one of the articles after they questioned the guy in the truck, they mentioned him leading them to some other people and some other counties. I’m guessing that’s why they’ve been mentioning Lancaster as well as Lincoln county.

If it were dark enough, would it be possible that her mom just mistook the longer haired guy for a female? I know she mentioned them hollering and implied they were all being loud while she FaceTimed with her. There hasn’t been any other mention of this other girl that was in the car but they’ve added a third male.

I FaceTime a lot. My daughter ONLY FaceTimes when she talks on the phone. She hardly ever just makes voice calls.

There are updated missing posters out and they state she was last seen with three black males. In one of the articles I linked, it mentions the guy in the truck being pulled over alone, and the questioning led them to two other males which accounts for the three that is being quoted. That’s all LE has released though.
thought it was one white male and two black males. did the poster changed that?

I FaceTime my mom all the time because my 3 year old is always FaceTiming her, so it's just what is on my call list instead of phone calls its FaceTime. If she was drinking she may have not even realized she was facetiming. Just to give an example of why.

A woman’s behavior is rarely the cause of a man’s intention to murder. The nicest people get murdered all the time.
Young girls are especially naive, (I was) and in search of LOVE, they are NOT out there trying to hurt or kill anyone. They do not deserve to be condemned or harmed.
I still don’t know how I survived all the stupid mistakes and choices I made during my teens and twenties
We should all be careful and teach our daughters to be careful... but never to extremes because living in fear is not really living, is it?

we dont know thats the case.

Certainly. I didn't suggest anything, rather the person above me suggested the possibility that her disappearance is voluntary and maybe a reaction to her DUI.

I'd find that to be a rather excessive course of action is all, as it would essentially have wasted the time and efforts and concerns of who knows how many people.

Surely LE is looking into her phone records / SM accounts etc etc. The phone should be able to give them clues on where it pinged at when she facetimed her mother and anywhere else she may have traveled that night.

I would imagine they have. It sounds like KSP and Richmond PD are putting a lot of resources into finding her. Both departments are very capable. I have a feeling they know what's going on and are hopefully staying quiet because they're either going to find her or they're building a case.

I feel that way, too. They're keeping fairly quiet over this and in my experience with them, it means they're onto something.

I truly hope you both are right and the case hasn’t gone cold. The days keep adding up with little to no news or updates.

A few years ago we had a case here up in Lexington where a young man first went missing and then was later found dead in the river (in a barrel if I am remembering correctly). From the public's point of view, it didn't look like they had anything on the case. We got very few updates. Then, suddenly, there was an arrest. It turned out that LE knew who was responsible from the beginning and was basically keeping it quiet so that the guys didn't get tipped off. They'd already made a run for another country, so they were paranoid enough as it was.

Point being, our detectives around here are sometimes more savvy than it appears. One of our local missing cases (Brookelyn Farthing) hasn't had any justice yet, but IMO that's less because of LE not knowing who did it and more because there isn't any good proof.
