I have noticed that MAS has “liked” a comment on the Satanic Rock Group “Devil’s Rain” Facebook page on February 15. I wonder if she is back in New Orleans? I guess she is assuming that people have forgotten about her notoriety. It would not surprise me that she is into Satanic things. That may explain a lot of things about her.....
Bessie - Thanks for the update on TS. It will be interesting to see how long he is going to serve his sentence.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about Justice for Jaren. There will be justice someday!
BBM ... This isn't her on Frenchman, is it? (Taken from the Frenchman Street FB page, where it was posted last night.)

Mississippi uses a different system for classifying felonies. There was a dismemberment case in NY where the person was charged with unlawful dissection of a human body & hindering prosecution, both classified as felonies.
http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2...-son-and-2nd-man-to-mothers-dismembered-body/
According to this that would be classified as a Class E felony:
http://public.leginfo.state.ny.us/LAWSSEAF.cgi?QUERYTYPE=LAWS+&QUERYDATA=$$PBH4210-A$$@TXPBH04210-A+&LIST=SEA9+&BROWSER=BROWSER+&TOKEN=24293220+&TARGET=VIEW
This describes a Class E felony & there may be some slight variations from state to state, but according to this overall the penalties would be basically the same.

If this is correct & these 2 can be convicted on these charges they could face up to 15 years. While that is not much for taking a life it is better than nothing at all. At least its a start for now. Just wanting to see some JUstice for Jaren & closure for her family.
R.I.P. JAREN LOCKHART!

http://www.nola.com/crime/index.ssf/2012/06/jaren_lockhart_murder_suspect.htmlTerry Speaks...has a substantial criminal history, including convictions for having sex with a 14-year-old, assaulting a woman and domestic violence, records show. The convictions all occurred in Surry County, N.C. The most recent was the sex offense, of which Speaks was found guilty in 2003, when he was 31.

And I haven't found a state public health law like the one in NY which prohibits unlawful dissection of a human body.
http://statutes.laws.com/new-york/pbh/article-42/title-2/4210-a
Mississippi does have the law prohibiting desecration of a human corpse that BeginnersLuck noted.

And Mississippi also has a law against tampering with physical evidence.

I'm not a lawyer, and I have no idea what evidence the DA's office holds. Hopefully, it's strong enough to smack them with at least these two charges, and perhaps a conspiracy charge, to boot.

In addition, TS could be looking at some very serious time as a habitual offender.
