Possible and since we know how CN lies for DM if she was interviewed by LE about the boat regarding having a period, I think she would lie to cover for him.

He seems to be proud of his womanizing, and thinks his proposed wealth should impress people. He's narcissistic and I think he was offended when she said he wasn't a good bf and didn't give her gifts. Now he's defending himself to attempt to prove otherwise imo.

Seems like this is DM's strategy as well. Encouraging the jury to ask these questions - why bother with LB? He slept around and claims CN knew. Claims he was generally honest about it.
So what would motivate him enough to kill her?

I'm very interested to see what prompted that text from DM ("I'll make her go away"). What perhaps did CN say first?

There is no logic in murder. She was an easy target, and easy to say she just went missing due to her profession.
