He apparently died of an infection, if not the flu, then a secondary bacterial one.
Like Jim Henson? "Kermit the Frog"?
That's what I think. He was just in Atlanta! 2 of my friends saw his concert!

Not much mention in the media about his album 3121 (which I believe was his last album to debut at number one). I loved that album; thought it was brilliant. Did any of you enjoy that one?

My favorite Prince story was told by Charlie Murphy about a pickup basketball game and pancakes. It's on Comedy Central, in a skit on the Chappell Show, so I won't link due to language. I always thought about that whenever I heard Prince on the radio.

It sure is bittersweet watching Prince's amazing dance moves, knowing now how much pain his performances would cause him. :(

One of the things I LOVE about his dances is how much humor he used. He was erotic, but always with a sense of fun, not misogyny. Many times, he poked fun at himself in his performances. Loved that about him.

How can you just leave me standing alone in a world that's so cold......

Me...me ....I did !

Too funny!

"Engineer David Z told a story about Prince’s attempt to play ping-pong with Jackson. “Michael drops his paddle and holds his hands up in front of his face so the ball won’t hit him. Michael walks out with his bodyguard, and Prince starts strutting around like a rooster. ’Did you see that? He played like Helen Keller.'”

Prince participated in door-to-door ministry, according to today's CNN article:

"On one occasion, remembered Lundstrom, Prince knocked on a door in a middle class suburb of Minneapolis. A woman answered and stared at the instantly recognizable singer, easily the Twin Cities' biggest celebrity, Lundstrom recalled. "In the middle of Prince's very nice Bible presentation, the woman says, 'Excuse me, but has anyone told you that you look a lot like Prince?' He looks at her and says, 'It's been said.' "

Luv this one too :heartbeat:
