Greetings All!

Not sure if anybody has seen these yet, but thought I'd post here just in case. :) I post heavily on the Justice for Travis page during the actual trial. We have a very good time during the trial thinking of new good names to call the DT. Sorry if that comes out really raunchy. But I'm sure you all understand! I mean, how long can your ears bleed listening to Wilmott and Nurmi!

Story One - Attempt at passing Travis's Law

Story Two: Thanks from Tanisha Sorenson (Travis's Sis) to all supporters

The defense is doing its job. They probably don't even like it--well, Nurmi, at least. So no, no name calling from me.

Was there more than just the one towel in the wash? Here's a photo of the washer as it was found. It doesn't look very full to me. IMO there were shorts, socks, athletic pants and undergarments of Travis', the towel and .. what else? She may have accidentally left it with the wash load, I've already said that would be easy to do with a camera what, a pound and a quarter or something close to that. I just don't know if she wanted to risk being caught with the camera, but then the last thing I want to do is get into JA's crazy mind.

The duvet cover was in the dryer. I don't think Jodi would stick around to do 2 loads of laundry with a butchered Travis in the shower upstairs. I think she left first and came back. Travis stripped the bed and threw it in the washer...duvet, sheets, pillow cases. (A last fling with Jodi and wash the bedding asap and move on to future better choices...lol) He got in the shower and she came back in a rage and ready to kill him because he would not commit to her in an earlier verbal showdown. The rest is on camera.. she kills him. I think she then moved his washer contents to the dryer and threw in her bloody towels etc. with the camera and bleach into the washer.
I have a queen sized bed and standard size washer and dryer. When I strip my bed down for washing I can't fit the duvet, flat and fitted sheets and pillow cases all wash at once. I do it in 2 loads. Duvet and one sheet, then the other sheet, pillow cases and a few other random items to make a full load. Travis had a huge bed. I believe proof was that Travis was an excellent housekeeper for a single male and would have not tried to put it all in at once. From pictures, he had standard size washer and dryer as well like mine. The items in the washer she moved to the dryer may not include all of the bedding.

Thank you.....although her word is taken with a grain of salt unless otherwise confirmed.

If this timeline is accurate, however, it does make it possible that Travis had put her name in for the Cancun trip.

:)

True, but imo it's right on the line. While she claims she broke up with him, I believe what Travis wrote in his last blog, that when he turned 30--which was the previous year, 2007--he reevaluated his life and decided he wanted to date from then on with marriage in mind. He admitted he mulled it over for a while. So I wouldn't be surprised if even before they 'officially' broke up June 29, as JA claims, he hadn't already decided she was not the kind of woman he wanted to marry.

So it's possible he put her name in, but if he was going to take her name off, wouldn't he have done so much earlier than April 2008? He was already dating others long before then.

No, Det. Melendez terstified the memory card was in the camera when it was found in the washing machine.

That would be Detective FLORES, no? :spring:

Do you have a cite for that? I did a Google search but couldn't find reference to .25s being recovered at Jodi Arias' parent's house.

I thought all the ammo was also conveniently stolen from gpa as well...

Under Arizona Law, are witnesses put "Under The Rule" where they cannot listen to prior testimony ?

Under Rule 615, witnesses are excluded from the courtroom. However, this trial is televised, so unless there is a specific order from the judge not to watch the trial, there is no way to prevent watching YouTube, etc.

Well, I do personally have one problem with Nurmi and that was when he lied to Chris and Sky Hughes about the so-called letters Travis wrote about his "interest in little boys." I remember me and my husband watching Chris testify about this and I was almost sick to my stomach. Nurmi told Sky these letters had been proven 100% to have been written by Travis but actually by then, they had already been suspect. He lied to Sky Hughes and Chris Hughes called him a pig and liar on the stand. I agreed. It was a very low blow, unethical and painful for Sky Hughes.

I have no respect for that man. Now for Wimott, I truly don't care. Her eye rolling and huffing and puffing are unprofessional to me, but, I haven't heard or seen anything unethical.

Big fan of Detective Flores here, but it was Detective Michael Melendez who was the camera specialist who testified about retrieving the photos and demonstrated in court how the shutter could be easily triggered from any pressure on the back while the camera was upside down.

He's cute, btw. :)

Not Me, I share some things with fellow Websleuthsers privately and in confidence, but I do not want many things on the threads! I respect her privacy and not sharing with us. sometimes I read things and feel like journalists are trying to get more than we want to share!

Not referring to your post of course!

Thank you. The posts are still there I'm sure...no big conspiracy :)....

I just cant remember the final outcome. Any company associated with bad press is bound to get a little pissy I would imagine.

And goodness knows, JA is bad press :floorlaugh:

(I cant even go down the Easter candy aisle at Walmart without snickering.....)

I am pretty sure I read his house was 4500 to 5000 sq. feet. I was shocked when one of the guys on HLN said the other night that it was a small house. I think that is pretty big personally. jmo

It was a two story so it would be 2500 or there about for each floor. Did that include the garage? That would take quite a big portion of the lower floor.

Are you an attorney? If someone were "Under The Rule", future witnesses for the defense (for instance) would NOT be allowed to hear prior testimony. This is what I am trying to verify. I might be asking this question in the wrong thread...

From the timeline: trial day 6
indicates that the sexy nudie photos were taken earlier in the day.
So? means that , possibly they had the sex and pic session,
then he told her to leave now.
That made her really angry,so she carried out her plan to kill him.
I still think he crawled towards the shower[ after running from it] while being stabbed in the back.
If he was crawling a lot of the stabs were done that way, she did not drag his dead body there...
she told him she would stop stabbing him if he went back to the shower for more pictures.
I know it sounds insane , but her behavior indicates that anyway. She laughs because people are saying she dragged him into the shower, she thinks that is funny because he crawled back in there.
Blood spatter /splatter? anyway, if HLN would demonstrate the scenario of a man his size being stabbed while crawling on his hands and knees would
show this?
Just am not getting how she could drag him back there into the shower, without blood drag marks?
If he were bleeding out I would think his body being dragged through blood would show up as some sort of drag marks?
Obviously, I am not believing the dragged story...:twocents:

Still trying to catch up. Just yesterday I saw a segment on HLN where they brought a young girl in 5'5" tall, 115 lbs and 26 years old. They also had a weighted dummy of the same approximate size and weight of Travis. She used the mock up bathroom to show that she could drag his body from the end of the hallway all the way back to the shower. She was even able to put the dummy body in almost the same position as TA's was found in the shower. So it can be done. It actually would have been easier for Jodi to do it than it was for this girl to do, because JA had the tile floor which would have been slick from water and blood to assist her in moving his naked body. (less resistance).

It can be done as HLN showed. The girl said that it was hard work but not impossible to do.

Unfortunately, this was not classified as a heinous crime by the state.

The aggravating factor the State is utilizing in seeking the death penalty is:
The defendant committed the offense in an especially heinous, cruel or depraved manner.

Thank you for correcting me. I thought that I saw it 1 time that the word heinous for this specific trial, had been removed at 1 point in time. I don't have a reference.

The previous judge rejected the "heinous" and "depraved" parts of the aggravating factor.

According to a brief filed recently with the AZ Supreme Court,

The defense is doing its job. They probably don't even like it--well, Nurmi, at least. So no, no name calling from me.

It doesn't have anything to do with who he is defending that bothers me but the way he leans back in his chair with a note pad in front him, is always addressing the judge in this position, that he giggled frequently at things Jodi said while on the stand, walking around court with the back of his shirt untucked, and the way he questions the witness's while flipping his pen constantly that has formed my poor opinion of him as an attorney.

Unfortunately, Wilmott does not subscribe to this one. I was watching her cross of the ME the other day and it was so cringey. She kept saying, "but you don't KNOW if the bullet went through his brain? you have no medical evidence, right?" And he just kept saying, I do know this. Did she really think a medical professional isn't going to know based on trajectory and anatomy whether a bullet passed through Travis' brain or not?

she's just a horrible lawyer. how did she ever become death qualified? did she attend a funeral once?

I've been reading about this case but not really participating. I'm in Australia so it rarely gets a mention in our news and I don't have time to read all of the threads so I miss a lot. Jodi's interview room singing and handstands got a mention in our news last week though!

I have a question - how long are they expecting the trial to last?
