I'm going to have to disagree with the "Jodi's Foot" reference in this pic. What is marked as Jodi's foot cannot be her foot due to the relative size. Compare the scale of the picture, i.e. size of Travis' shoulder to the relative size of what is marked as Jodi's foot... A person's shoulder width is somewhere between 5-8" from the base of the neck to the bone of the humerus (upper arm bone). A woman who wears a size 6.5-7 shoe is approximately 12" from heel to toe. If we use this as a scale then the foot, as it is marked in the picture, could only be 1-2" long. Not possible for JA... I believe what is marked as JA's foot is actually TA's blood pooling from one of the numerous wounds he sustained.

Yes, that would be interesting to know! I wonder how many calls there were from that date until June 4. If there were multiple daily calls and texts up to that date and suddenly they dropped off. IIRC the calls to TA on the way to AZ were less than 2 min in length and one for 14 or so minutes. I have to go back and check but I didn't get that there were lengthy phone calls while she was on the way to see him.

May 28 was the text from TA blasting JA for scamming and betraying him. I would think a lot of what happened is from whatever she did that caused him to feel that way.

It is interesting to note that Det Flores constantly gives her an out with the possibility of another person involved.

Jodi confirmed it was her pants leg both under cross in interview with Det. Flores.

Maybe she had it in her hand and tossed it on the carpet so she could pull him and it took a pic when it landed? And when she picked it back up she inadvertently took the next pic? Who says it was kicked for sure?

I've been staying away for awhile because AV's testimony is so boring. I missed the discussion of the emails from Skye Hughes. I believe they were telling Jodi that TA was abusive and to stay away from him.

If that's true, does anyone else think they were an attempt to scare Jodi away from Travis because nothing else worked? There's also the possibility they were forged.

I'd have to see them to be sure.

This is exactly what I think! (BBM). I don't think that Sky would go behind Travis' back and say terrible things about him like that. I think Travis was tired of JA and they were hoping she'd take the hint if someone else said things... but of course, she did not! I hope it doesn't hurt the Prosecution's case!

If the Defense could prove any part of the "I feared for my life so the murder is okay" they would. Their goal at this time is to prevent JA from getting the death penalty. Frankly, I just want this trial to get into the hands of the jury and to avoid a hung jury.! I have this nagging feeling something is going to go wrong. God help that jury...

Here is a screen grab, rotated, of what Detective Flores showed Jodi what he called the first photo of her and TA at 5:22, "that's when it started." I believe it's the top photo on this page with 3 photos. Not that it's hard to make out or anything.

I believe this email will end up just like the one Lisa sent to Travis. This could be the reason the Hughes wanted nothing more to do with Jodi after this email because she lied to them about Travis. I'm sure Travis could see his chances of dating someone and getting serious going down the drain because Jodi just would not go away. Jodi may have felt because Deanna still was around that she also should be able to hang out at Travis' because he had "courted" her for 5 months. Jodi must have made Travis' life a living hell at times.

Good point. She probably was hoping for that little bit of revenge. Just as the whole pedophile story is nothing more than an evil attempt to take a swipe at his family and friends with a baseless accusation.

- Compare those wounds to the timestamped evidence pic where TA is on his back and JA's foot is in the foreground.
- Analyze the wound pattern compared with the timestamp and location of this pic

What I hope to discover:
- the wounds present on TA's body at the time the picture was taken that can be seen as evidence in the photo
- the actual physcial location of the body when the photo was taken
- comparing it to subsequent photos admitted into evidence to possible deduce where additional wounds may have been inflicted (relative to physical location in TA's home)
- the timeline of the attack, where wounds were inflicted, in what sequence, and how the attack actually occurred

Information I feel would be relevant to this non-scientific re-creation of events:
- TA's age, weight, height (to approximate his blood volume using a medical model)
- evidence photos showing blood spatter and pooling before the suspected clean up activities
- to scale comparisons of the area of the home where the attack occured
- JA's accurate height and trial video (to recreate the measurements of her hand/finger length, foot size, etc.)

If possible, I will cite the citations used in my data extrapolation: i.e. approximate blood volume calculations, medical models, and scale drawing used. My plan is to upload the pics into auto-cad to maintain scale so I have the ability to stretch the photos to match the scale of the location.

I think so too. I think Jodi wouldn't take no for an answer, kept hanging on and Sky and Chris were trying to use reverse psychology to give Jodi the hint.

However, that is only if the email(s) were actually genuine and not something that JA forged or tampered with to begin with.

Wow, awesome! Have you seen the amazing work Reality Man has done interpreting these images in the sequence of events thread? Really awesome that ya'll spend your time this way. Those of us who don't have time (or, as in my case, the knowlede and ability to do an analysis such as you describe) but long to understand thank you,

Only the sensational headline suggests such an outcome: "Survey: Results Suggest Acquittal Not Death Likely in Jodi Arias Murder Trial"

Even if the results were statistically relevant -- they aren't -- none of the survey data in the article indicate likely acquittal.

Too bad she didn't sample from the juror-eligible population in Maricopa County, Arizona and qualify the group for those truly familiar with trial/case evidence and testimony to date.

Of course, that would have been too much work, and probably wouldn't justify the attention-grabbing headline.

She states that 89% have watched the trial and 86% are familiar with the facts of the case.

Really?

Define "familiar"...

And that is but one of many flaws with which the survey is replete.

BBM Except who sits like that in a shower? Someone on another thread mentioned they had tried it and couldn't get up without rolliing over and out.

No one sits on the floor of their shower without a reason, of course. However, remember how Jodi said when they were fighting one time he ran upstairs and was banging his head on the linen closet door?

Well, here's my thought. If Travis didn't KNOW that Jodi was there (see, testimony of DB about secret shower pixs she took of him; and Jodi's own adamancy that Travis would NEVER even let her WATCH him shower let alone take pictures of it), he might have turned and caught her taking the pictures (see pix of shocked look followed by the one hanging his head down - ELLY MAE 1312). Rather than roaring out of the shower in a rage, I see him slowly sliding down into that position where he maybe sat for a few seconds and banged his head against the shower wall behind him.

Then he turns and looks right into the camera with that expression of such pathos. She opens the door - flash, pix of torso - he is getting up to get out (maybe reaches to turn off shower; maybe reaches up to get assist) and she stabs his chest thinking he will collapse and die (like the movies depict). But he grabs the wound and comes out of the shower.

Now he turns his back to her at the sink (see, Travis blog about how he handled his mother's blows), and while he is coughing out blood, Jodi is stabbing the grouping on his back and the wounds behind his ear and on scalp. JODI is the one saying, "*advertiser censored**ing kill you, ***** (my kids call both women and men by that term).

Travis tries to stop the knifing with his hands, turning to face her he is stabbed in the front, but also he is trying to escape down the hallway. JODI thinks you are not "going to get help from the neighbors." He falls on all fours at the carpet edge saying, "I can't feel my legs." There is and has been a lot of screaming going on so Jodi (standing) reaches down and slashes his throat. Travis (again struggling to get on his feet at the moment of the cutting) falls over backwards. Jodi is backing up and hits the camera - Travis is finishing his fall with one arm slightly raised. This is what I see on that picture because there is an immense amount of blood running over his shoulder.

Travis is making noise still because of his death throes (while working victim services in a probation and parole department, I read many pre-sentencing reports where the perps say they escalated the violence to make the victim stop making "that sound"). Jodi DOES get the gun from the closet because the closet door closest to the shower is about where she would be standing at this point (her purse is probably by the inside closet door where she set it when she started taking the pictures). Bang, she shoots him (the casing ejects and lands atop the blood by the sink). Travis is a bloody mess. Jodi is a bloody mess, and the shower has been running with the door open through it all. So she hauls Travis and herself into the shower and starts the clean up.

Jodi is full of rage alright, but it is from her narcissism, not the pent up anger of a battered woman. Travis never lifted a hand against her except to fend off the blade.

As far as the striped pants....I heard her in the interviews with Flores trying to say that yes she had similar pants but that she hadn't taken either pair of two that she owned on the trip. BS of course but that's what she said.

Ok, I'm about 10 pages behind and trying to catch up so forgive me if this has already been addressed! First, if MM is locked away somewhere else, wouldn't there be record of that somewhere?

Second...regarding the picture of JA's foot and TA's shoulder. Color me stupid, but I've looked at this pic a hundred times and I can't decipher anything in this picture. Is there a "breakdown" somewhere, or something I can look at with arrows or something?

I've checked both the California and Arizona inmate searches and came up empty-handed.

The other thing I finally learned in the unedited interviews was FINALLY something from Flores about the neighbors having seen her there. I might have missed it before but I had never heard much of anything about the neighbors and what they might have seen or not seen.
