I'm horrified by what's came out, but sadly I'm not surprised that Bella's death was tragic like this. I had a feeling it was a case where something had happened and the parents were fully aware. I have no sympathy for the mother though.

The thing I do not understand is that all these were too stupid to understand the point of the computer-generated image. It was not meant to be an exact likeness of the girl! These total morons could not wrap their heads around this. The point was to get people to thinking if they knew of a brown-eyed, brunette child of around that age who they had not seen.

I swear no adult in this poor child's life could process even the most basic of concepts.

You are right, of course. but in the larger picture, people do not want to get involved and people like these who are either running around with rap sheets longer than their drug-tracked arms, or are committing welfare fraud, or are trying to fly under the radar and do NOT want to bring any attention on themselves. That goes for family, extended family, and neighbors. People had to have suspicions.. BIG ONES, as to who BABY DOE was. They just waited for someone else to stick their neck out. JMO

Amoroso said he was sickened by what he had learned and that he and Bond talked about whether they should go to the police or FBI. They never did. He said Bond sent a text alerting someone else that Bella was dead and that person notified police. However, that assertion could not be confirmed.

The Department of Children and Families had already taken two of Bond’s children, according to the agency. Bond had told a defense attorney in 2011 that she was bipolar, prescribed Klonopin, and had been in a methadone program for 10 months.

McCarthy is currently hospitalized for abscesses in his arms due to heroin use, according to an official with knowledge of the investigation, and Amoroso claimed that Bond told him she was only able to escape after his hospitalization.

Amoroso said that he met Bond after her phone call. She did not immediately tell him what had happened to Bella. Bond said she wanted to sleep by the water, so they spent the night outdoors in South Boston, and all she talked about was Bella, he said. Bond did not say the child was dead, just that Amoroso would find out everything.

It was only after they had spent about 24 hours together that she finally laid out the “horrific” details of their daughter’s death, said Amoroso. He declined to elaborate.

She was with bio-dad, she texted someone else to tell them and they told someone else who told LE? How long did bio-dad know? Ugh. This is so gross and sad.

I really do want to vomit. On a news clip i posted earlier the bio dad had his arm around his mother.. the "grandmother" said well i thought it looked like Bella but i really didnt know. So, let me get this straight. BIO dad never saw Bella in person but his MOTHER knew what the baby looked like? How? Facebook? i mean i dont understand this.. These wack job, drug addicted, abusive, welfare recipients use their money for drugs but manage to have camera phones that can videotape birthday parties and FB accounts so they can interact with bio grandmas when the bio dad never saw the child? JMO Why are we giving people enough money to pay for computers, cell phones, drugs, cigarettes, apartments, and a freezer large enough to hold a small child? The world has gone mad. imo We dont have enough money to spend on case workers but we have enough money to throw at these "extras" in life? MOO

The "Baby Doe" mystery broke open due to a tip to Boston Police detectives, leading police to identify the child and arrest her mother and her mother's boyfriend.

"I'm a mother. As a mother, it's unimaginable someone would do that and I'm just glad I was able to have a small part in giving Bella a name," said the woman who called in the tip. FOX25 has agreed not to identify her.

Finally someone sensible. Not only did she make the decision to call in the tip, she also is not gabbing to the press. I think we found someone in the group with some decency.
