Here is something really straight forward and simple, "Conrad Roy is NEVER coming back"
Do you mean a request to go to New Orleans for her birthday when you say "no"? Otherwise I'm confused because I don't know what they requested.
Ha ha sorry typo..it was actually NH New Hampshire. The family requested right after the sentencing to take her out of state to celebrate her 21st bday with her.
Another help assisted suicide or possible murder in Utah, May 6, 2017. Reported in Salt Lake Tribune, Daily Mail and other papers, recently reported. On iPad so cannot link.
Tyerell Przybycien helped Jchandra Brown hang herself. He brought the rope and video taped the hanging. He is charged with murder but defense is fighting it.
This is infuriating. This judge had the power to create legal precedent and now kids realize there's no penalty.

This mornings SunChronicle has an article stating that on Wednesday a notice of intent to appeal was filed.
The lawyer for Michelle Carter has filed notice to preserve her right to appeal her involuntary manslaughter conviction, according to court documents made public Thursday.
Now, Rayburn, 43, who was one of the prosecutors who won a manslaughter conviction in the Michelle Carter texting suicide case, has been nominated to be a district court judge.
Also, in the SunChronicle a couple of days ago...

Where would Carter get $4.2 million if the parents’ suit is successful?

Because she was 17, and could be considered a minor, living with her parents, the law suit might go against the parents? She could also make payments for the rest of her life....never would be able to pay the settlement in full, but she would not have a good life if half her paycheck went to the settlement. JMO and what I am thinking

What really bothers me is she was only a few weeks away from her 18th birthday.
She should have been tried as an adult as far as I am concerned.
And isn;t she lucky that she will be able to celebrate Thanksgiving with her family? The girl should be serving a sentence.
Sorry all but this case bothers me so much because she knew what she was doing.
