I knew I would get blasted for my feelings about the fiancee, but I stand by them. On HLN they are reporting she's still going ahead with the wedding plans, has her Facebook support group for him, etc. Honey, it's time to face the facts. Or at least ST*U in public. Dr. Russell on JVM's show on HLN just drew a parallel with the A's, in that love is a powerful blindfold. I still think her behavior is similar to their behavior. Very defiant.

His family reportedly visited him today, hope he was out of the "catatonic state" for their visit. ROLLLLLEYES.

I sure wouldn't blast you. The sooner she wakes up, the better off she will be--but she doesn't know that yet. The solid evidence against him keeps coming in, and she looks stupider and stupider the longer she stands by this creep.

The best thing he can do, without admitting guilt, is to tell her to get on with her life, that he's not going to marry her.

A law enforcement official told The Associated Press that fingerprints belonging to Philip Markoff were found on a wall of the Holiday Inn Express in Warwick, where a stripper has said she was assaulted by a man she met through Craigslist.Suffolk County prosecutors in Massachusetts have placed an ad on Craigslist in an attempt to find other women who may have been victimized by Markoff. Markoff was placed on suicide watch at the Boston jail where he was being held after authorities reportedly found shoelace marks on his neck. His Attorney and parents also payed him a visit.

How can he have "movement" anyway, in a bodysuit? I would imagine the "stupor" is more like, MAJOR DEPRESSION, from the reality of getting caught and what he is faced with.

If he is in a catatonic state, it is a voluntary one.
 
Well...that evidence is mounting quickly:

1) Eye witnesses (first victim and her hubby) of 1st attack plus her email sent to LE (?) to find his IP address.

2) IP Addresses which trace back directly to him from both victims.

3) Video tape of him in hotels.

4) Ballistics match of the gun and bullets which killed 2nd victim.

5) Both victims underwear found in his house.

6) Cell phone pings which show him to be in the exact areas of attacks.

7) Cell phone records.

8) Duct tape and ties which match those found at scene at his house.

9) His fingerprints on wall and on ties found at the scene.

10) The possible forensic evidence of his semen found on the victim (mentioned earlier by Wendy on JVM.

Oh...yes...I would say this guy is toast or jelly on a gurney. Do they have a choice in that state of the electric chair or the needle?

No wonder he is in such a catatonic state...he forgot to leave a freaking confession note with the rest of the evidence. :bang:

LE is certainly being open with the public in this case. Is it due to so much overwhelming evidence or because of the possibility there are other victims?

Hi,

Sorry, I wasn't intending to put words in your mouth in any way, I was commenting more in a general way about how many people do look down on victims of violent crimes when the person happens to have been a call girl, prostitute, escort, or what have you, when we have no way of knowing what that persons situation or circumstance may have been.

Maybe it's time that society stops stereotyping women in these circumstances, in the manner it often has.

So I apologize if you may have taken my comment as anything other than a general comment

I agree it does speak volumes when no one shows up for his hearing. Are they afraid of the media crush? Do they know more about him which will come out in the future against him? It does raise many questions.

Sometimes step-parents are more likely to see bullsh1t than the biological parent. I would guess that it has created conflict in the marriage. This has got to be horrible on PM's mother, I would also imagine that her denial was fueled by pride that her son was going to be a doctor. The step-father probably has a rocky relationship with PM, he is probably fuming about what PM has done to his wife.

If PM's mom's and step-father's marriage survives this I will be shocked. In all likelihood his mom is in as much denial as the fiance so I am sure this is going to cause conflict in the relationship.

I also think that the step-father's reputation as a dentist is on the line. Who wants to be under the media spot light connected with a case like this?

To me it looks like his sister in law is trying to keep herself from smiling, and PM's brother also looks like he is almost gloating. There have been reports that he was a bully. Usually bully's don't just target people in school. I don't think it was to much fun being his younger brother. Especially if the mother puts PM on a pedestal because he is going to be a doctor.
