It has been suggested that maybe during the check by GM at about 9.05pm, an intruder may have been hiding in the child bedroom.
But now add to that ... it was also suggested that maybe during the check by MO at about 9.25pm the intruder may have been hiding in the child bedroom (causing the noise MO heard?).
Maddie abductor could have been caught in the act, Netflix doc claims
IMO both accounts are plausible. Is there any way an intruder could be inside that apartment continuous from before 9.05pm until after 9.25pm? Or was the noise MO heard caused by wind through window?

All this thing has been biased by fantasies. It makes all sense that window was used as entry and leaving point and that guy was dumb lucky. GM just imagined someone inside after the facts but has absolutely nothing to substantiate that. The facts are: MO heard a noise. MO saw too much light. MO didn't check MM. MO left. So CB had freeway to finish work. Shutters had two thumb marks in the middle which you won't find on any other shutters unless you open them from outside.

Yes IMO it was entry via window. Possibly exit also not sure. A big question IMO is how long was the intruder in the apartment?

The simplest and fastest hypothesis is using open window again. I'm sure it took him less than a minute. Just pick up girl and leave. Only question is how both left. Window is low enough to put child under armpits outside but seems safer to have someone outside getting her and putting her in a car parked there (something easy and hidden by a large tree at the time).

Oldfield wasn't it. The one that said he saw the twins but not MM. And the light being brighter than expected

Which door did MO go in by. Where would security lights be if the abductor had triggered them and had just left?

From GM's statement:

"At about 21.30 his friend Matt (member of the group) went to the apartment, where his children were and on his way went to the witness' apartment, entering by means of a glass sliding door that was always unlocked and was located laterally to the building. He entered the bedroom, he observed the twins and he did not even notice whether Madeleine was there".

Yes I agree it is possible the intruder also exited through the window.
